How would it take lo ger than FFVII? VI is shorter and has less content, don't get me wrong it ties with VII for my favourite but story wise and game play wise I can finish it in half the time or a little over.
if the dev down version FF7 to a cartridge like ff6 you will know thats why you know nothing my boy. FF7 dont have that many place to go not many content not many storys. FF6 has a lot of character and each character have theyre own story and thats not mentioning all the place to go in the game. it probably take 50years to complete ff6 remake
@@purpleshy1502 "it probably take 50years to complete ff6 remake" This is so absurd. Obviously it wouldn't be just one game, but there's no reason why it should take an especially long time to make.
oh its vass. i know how you think. you play ff7 and you think its long and you play ff6 on super nintendo and you think its faster. you think its less content boy if only you knew. ff6 is the most longest game in all final that has made before and in modern graphics. if it gets a remake. the story is far better than any final fantasy game. thats why i wish ff6 really get remake. i love all final fantasy game but ff6 really do it for me@@terrycullen3302
I think he’s overthinking it. All they have to do is make a voice acted 3D version and we’ll be happy. Turn based JRPGs still sell (cough Persona cough) so there’s no problem.
I mean all they have to do is butcher and ruin the story just like they did with VII and do their own thing. Shouldn't be too hard since they've done it already.
So much truth. the sad part, is that if you say this in any FF7R youtube video, you get crucified by all the blinded fanboys who clearly cant see the obvious that Square-ENIX ruined FF7. I've literally had troves and dozens of fanboys tryna argue me and beat me down for saying FF7R sucks.
@KT-rq9id Wouldn't you rather not know every single beat to the story going in? Would you truly be satisfied if it was the exact same game with upscales graphics? If they did that way then there would be no suspense, no theory crafting between installments, side characters would receive no expansion... It would honestly be the same old same old just with a flashy coat of paint
I wouldn’t say they butchered the story. They marketed it as a remake of the original game rather than the sequel that it is. They tried to subvert expectations, and make a way for them to retell the same story similarly, yet not as constrained by it, which upset many in the fan base. I personally liked it, but understand why others wouldn’t. If the whole source code comes out on PC, I don’t think it would be too difficult to mod the game to remove several aspects and dialogues to make it in line with the original.
"Final Fantasy VI would take 20 years to remake..."
Meanwhile, Persona 3 Reload comes out today...
“Final Fantasy VI would take 20 years to remake…”
Not with Unreal Engine 5
I can understand why this fanbase wants more remakes than new games.
I don't. Not when it's in the same vein as FF7R.
What are you talking about. FF7 remake is good
Nostalgia is a drug.

No new ideas that's why nostalgia exists!!
part one coming 2500 :-(
But we don’t need a billion dollar virtual reality sim like ff7.
Just something with a tiny bit more effort than what we keep getting.
That’s with Unreal Engine 4. Unreal Engine 5 would fix that.

Master of Remakes
I'd settle for a sprite-based remake. I do not like the FF7R anyways
Yeah like octopath traveler style
Pixel Remaster exists
