I love Aldi! My Aldi forces people to stop using cameras as well so you are not alone. I would think they would love more social media. They have great deals that can’t be found anywhere else. We love the pizzas and breadsticks.
I have a Durango with a hatch but I think you could do this with a trunk and back seat of a car. Use laundry baskets. No more bags. I shop, pay and then take the cart filled with groceries to my car where I have 3 baskets in the hatch. One for items to go directly into the freezer (we have a deep freeze in the garage), one for refrigerated foods and one for everything else. I sort the groceries into the baskets. I pull up in the back driveway, get the cart from the garage and load up the two baskets with fridge and other stuff items to go in the house. I take the frozen food to the deep freeze and put it in so that I can put the basket back into the hatch. I then take the others into the house and put the fridge basket by fridge and put the other items basket on the breakfast table next to the pantry. Putting everything up is fast and easy. Then all I have to do is put the baskets back in the car. Everything is done. Since my husband is unable to help me anymore I had to come up with something where I would not have to lug heavy sacks plus there is more room in the basket to put more food.
I love Aldi, shop there every week. I get so much more on groceries than at Walmart. I like the fact that on a lot of their items they don't have corn syrup in them and that they have a lot of organic stuff also.
Helpful hint... sometimes an item on special will sell out that week and it doesn't come back for a long time (or maybe never if it didn't sell well.) I bought some Indian food mixes (Tikka masala, Vindaloo, etc just add chicken) and they were exceptional. Went back and they were gone. If its specialty and you know you love it, you're wise to stock up or you may have to wait until it comes back around. Love Aldi!
Cheese Dairy and Produce are so good. From 1979, it was owned by Aldi Nord's German owner Theo Albrecht until his death in 2010, when ownership passed to his heirs. Aldi Nord entirely owns and operates Trader Joe's through an Albrecht family trust. The company has offices in Monrovia, California, and Boston, Massachusetts.
I have been shopping at Aldi for over 10years. I like one of the other comments went to Aldi while my hubby went to this other store.I decided to offer a challenge, that we both shop for the exact same items, the stores brand when possible and share the receipt to see which saved the most or as we say, "gives you the best bang for our bucks". I won an so Aldi has become a mandatory shopping place for milk, eggs, fresh veggies & fruit, especially pineapples, peppers and yes bananas. ThAnks for doing a video on Aldi.
HI Ladies, I love Aldis. I go every Sunday. to purchase my produce and sometimes chicken and gluten free products. They usually sale out of the Gluten free products. They do sometimes issue a coupon like $10 off $40 of groceries. They are not open on Holidays. Did you try to insert the chain into your basket? This would release your quarter. I'm glad you are doing a series on shopping at different stores.
I've been shopping at Aldi's for about 17 years. The first one that went up in our region was back in the early '80's and was kind of junky; but my mom shopped there; while I shopped a warehouse store next door. WELL, that warehouse store and it's affiliates from Central Grocers just closed down, I think 12-17 local stores in our bi-state area. Many people have lost jobs. Close to 2,000 in the paper today. ANYWAY, I love their Aldi's oat bread.....the best bread around. Used to shop at Jewel (very expensive), but at the time convenient; where I would buy ROMAN MEAL 12 GRAIN BREAD (still the best, but over $3/loaf). My OAT BREAD from Aldi's over the past 17 years went from .59/loaf now up to $1.39. Still a great deal. If you look, you will also see discounted sales both in the coolers, freezers and the general merchandise. Love the Clancy's sour cream and onion chips. I buy all my meat there, especially when the boneless/skinless chicken breasts are on sale. Love their seasonal item of cappuccino - definitely a stock up item. BUT, they just replaced their canned dog food with Pedigree chunks. I need the chopped food. Their employees are always very nice and helpful. They pay well too. More and more aldi's are opening in our area. Their distribution center is about 30 miles from me and my nephew works at their Batavia headquarters on their computers. HAPPY SHOPPING EVERYONE......ALDI'S IS A GREAT PLACE TO SHOP. Oh yeah, no one can beat their prices on eggs and milk. ALSO, their canned goods are almost half the price of $ Tree. And their baby wipes of 72 are .59. ALSO, their cereals are GREAT!!!
They have the best salsa and the chips are better then brand name and half the price can probably buy 3x amount and taste better love the store milk is so cheap too
Their sweet potato chips r the bomb!!! The dark chocolate bars r imported chocolate & so good. Blueberry muffins 4 pack also great. Aldi really has some great prices!
I live in the Hampton Roads area of VA and we have one opening soon in Hampton and they just had one open in our neighbor city Newport News and there is probably more around I don't know about that just popped up This is a very high military area so I'm sure this will be good for our service family's to save money. Thanks so much for the info I'm much more prepared to shop there when they open in my city
New subscriber. Loving your channel already. Can you do a video on Wal-Mart and Giant Eagle grocery shopping? I find that some of their items are over priced. I live in Western Pennsylvania and we do have an Aldis.
This looks quite different to the Australian Aldi stores. Here they are smaller (maybe a lot smaller), they don't sell liquor because of South Aust. state law, none sell cigarettes (great imho), and some of the smaller items are not in boxes. All stores are laid out exactly the same so any Aldi you walk into and want a single item you can find immediately. First row, turn right into entrance door, it's all canned, packaged foodstuffs, at the end of that long row is the meat section on back wall, turn back left to the second row and you have bathroom/laundry etc then all your soft drinks on the left side while on the right side is their weekly specials on everything from screwdrivers to jukeboxes, as well as short term food items, lotions etc etc. All laid out on open tables about a metre high or pallets at floor level for the big stuff. Right turn at the end and on the left side is frozen foods followed by fruit, veg, right side is the weekly specials again. Turn left into the fourth and last row returning back to checkout is more produce, then more frozen on left, on right more canned/packaged goods, milk bread etc. Cashiers do not put the items in trolley, customer does as they scan, then pack at counter supplied or in my case back at the car into the boot. Our trolleys accept two Aussie coins... the $1 or the $2 coin, but they do have special tokens available instead.
My little guy is allergic to milk but he likes their soy formula as well as the name brand. He also likes their fruit pouches which rum under 80 cents each and are organic with no additives. We have to buy lots of them because he can eat 2 in a sitting, but it’s better than chips. Also, the return policy is great! I got some baby cucumbers that were moldy and they replaced the bad AND refunded my $$$. Hubby likes their chocolate bars, and I enjoy all their produce bargains.
hi thanks for the great video, I am waiting for Aldi to open in Ontario Near upland California. Can't wait. thank you. some Aldi's don't care if you film just depends who is Mgt. at the time !! lol
love the video, I subscribed, I just started aldi DEC ,30,so I'm a newbe good video our Kroger closed Jan this year so checked out aldi few days before, its a savings place, I miss Kroger and couiponing but love aldi and not fooling with coupons to ,
I do love Aldi and have shopped there for years. A couple tips I have from experience is to ask the cashier to be gentle with your produce if you don't want to come home with bruised fruit. I've always had them respect my request and be very gentle with my order. Also, check your receipt before leaving. Because the cashier goes so fast, the register will frequently double or triple charge you. I've had some of the worst errors made at Aldi. They never argue and give me my money back right away. But I also never leave the store without checking through my receipt. Lastly, if you don't see an item you normally buy on the shelf, ask an employee. They will frequently have it in the back. TFS!
Help I think my CVS account has been hacked I can't log in and I looked and I got an email from cvs telling me I changed my password and I didn't. I was able to log in early this morning and afternoon but can't this time. I've tried getting my password reset but it's saying I need too call but tomorrow is Saturday and I think the extra care line is closed. Has anyone else have had this happen or know if cvs has said anything about a hacking at all in the last few days?
Thank you! We are getting a Aldi where I live so I'm super excited! I would love to see how to shop at Target..Do you think Aldi is cheaper then Walmart?😀 Thank you!!!
A R Not exactly. Walmart started in Germany in 1997 and closed their shops and business in mid- 2006. They never got to get profitable, they built up losses every year. Even Aldi alone sold nearly 10 times more than Walmart (in Germany during this time). Walmart lost big money, 3 Mrd. Euro in those 9 years in Germany.
If you don't like a product you purchased, you can bring it back for a full refund. This is great when you try their off brand items. I have never brought something back.
Every item that needs cooling is stored in the appropriate way in coolers or freezers. Thats not by choice, thats demanded by FDA. And there is no difference in that point between any store.
Couponstoprovide does Aldi hauls all the time!!!!!! She's gets the best deals and does soooooo much other things check her out for Aldis she will show you the best deals of the week

I usually give my cart to a new person walking up and then ask them to do the same and pay it forward.
Me too 😊
I love Aldi, shop there every week. I get so much more on groceries than at Walmart. I like the fact that on a lot of their items they don't have corn syrup in them and that they have a lot of organic stuff also.
I live on the peninsula and my family loves Aldis. We are military family so Aldis helps us stay under budget for groceries.
Aldi is my favorite, I am a senior, single lady & I think it is great!😊
There you go!!

I absolutely love the Duetsche Kueche line of wursts and sauerkraut and anything else that can be had.
I'm an aldi shopper, a family of 7 is hard to budget so it works well for me. Thanks forsharing!

I'm so scared to test Aldi... just because the prices seem so unreal... lol.
But after watching this I think I'll finally go check it out!

Good tip for the pineapple. I didn't know that. I get all my produce from there. I didn't know that about the meat...

I would recommend to keep an eye out for additives in the meats. I know the whole chicken had an additive in.
Yes! I actually dont eat chicken!

yes

If you have no Quarter..they will loanyou one
If you don't like a product you purchased, you can bring it back for a full refund. This is great when you try their off brand items. I have never brought something back.
I love Aldi are they sisters looks like twins @ginaschweppe
Nope just close friends!
Yeah produce is on shelves not refrigeratorated cases which means it goes bad faster
Every item that needs cooling is stored in the appropriate way in coolers or freezers. Thats not by choice, thats demanded by FDA. And there is no difference in that point between any store.
The produce is usually kept near the refrigerator section to keep it cold during the day, and it is put in the cooler at night.
Couponstoprovide does Aldi hauls all the time!!!!!! She's gets the best deals and does soooooo much other things check her out for Aldis she will show you the best deals of the week
