They didn't even invade Kabul they just walked in with no real resistance! The people welcomed them as heroes which shows that the people would way rather have crazy islamist barbarians than their US backed corrupt government! Keep in mind that the Afghani military outnumbered and outgunned the Taliban with their modern tech and yet they managed to take Kabul in such short time! The reason why is because a lot of Afghani soldiers supported the Taliban and wanted the US puppets, who only care about making western business men and corporations richer instead of providing decent living for the Afghani people ,out!

    In Arabic, Talib means “Student”.
    One student = Talib
    Many students = Taliban
At the tail end of cold war, there was a shortage of teachers since Mujahidin were at war with Russia. Pashtuns started appointing all the wounded fighters as teachers to the madrasas near Afghan/Pakistan border tribes. Mula Umer was one of the appointed teachers bcz he couldn’t fight after losing an eye.
A local tribal leader had one of the student (Talib) kidnapped from a madrasa. This madrasa happened to be headed by Mula Umer (the then unknown Head Master). Mula gathered all the disabled teachers, all the students of his madrasa and marched to the tribe to rescue that boy. The boy was rescued, and the word spread out that bunch of students made the tribal leader run. This is how commoners started referencing them as Taliban. These guys were just students. There is a lot more to it but this is the shortest/simplest summary of how these Pashtuns were named Taliban.

The C.I.A. is not The U.S. The C.I.A. is the C.I.A. There are conflicting power circles at odds with and in bed with each other everywhere in each type of government or organization. Each entity has their own agenda. Within that is cooperation, corruption, secret agreements, betrayals, spies....... People chase money and power from whatever institution they are working. • @tararasque932
      @tararasque932 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

@@digitallocations1423 For intellectuals and politicians in the few large westernized cities it certainly wasn't. For the 70+% of the population who are rural, have spent the last 40-45 yrs being displaced, have always lived under warlords who were constantly skirmishing and abused their own people, and who lived a modest traditional existence anyway, the Taliban way of life wasn't all that much different but at least the Taliban brought order. The Taliban curbed the sexual exploitation of boys that is a longtime custom among the warlords and other rich men (look up 'Bachi Bazi.' It started again as soon as the US took control). Above all, people were just exhausted from war and constantly running. I began to consider this point of view after reading an interview with Sharbat Gula (Nat'l. Geographic's 'Afghan Girl.') To this day I can't think of another tribal Afghan woman who has really been asked for her opinion. She, having lived in refugee camps since the age of 8, clearly stated "Things were easier under the Taliban." That shocked me. I couldn't understand why, given the western rhetoric. But people need to be fed, housed and safe before they start worrying about whether or not they have the right to become a philosophy professor at Kabul University. And the general population has been nowhere near safe for generations.

If your saying then why are some afghanistan residents fleeing well its because their the ones who took the government and america’s side so their only option was to flee when they betrayed their country and lost.
And if your saying america is not involved and its only the afghanistan government and taliban fighting then why is american troops all over afghanistan SINCE 20+ years and why when the government lost are there suddenly american flee planes.
If you dont understand or disagree then imagine this: your living peacefully in your country but suddenly your government wants to team up with America that has a completely different realign and wants to change rules your realign doesnt comprehend/allow, what will you sit there and cry or fight for the freedom of your beloved country and realign. @@Jagonath no just no. The Americans invaded and tried to colonise Afghanistan. They took 20 years to brainwash the Afghans and to setup an American liberal system to brainwash them into thinking the western way of life is the better one. 20 years is a long time and the Americans won some of the public over (especially the youth). When Isa left, the majority of the Afghans saw an opportunity and joined forces to overthrow the minority government that USA placed. This is a fantastic day because instead of Afghans killing each other (which is what the colonisers wanted) they joined forces instead. And now the western world is crying about it and cherry picking sellout Afghans to voice their “fear”. Same standard western bot template being brainwashed by their government. In other domestic news you are able to counter and think for yourself… but with Afghanistan… no you media and government must be right. Stop being a racist and accept there are other ways of life other than the western “freedom” of gender confused, alcoholic, adulterous etc society you are accustomed to.

      Forgot to mention...
      1) Afghanistan was producing 60% of worlds heroin before taliban.
      2) The mass rape of villagers, boys and girls at hand of Russian drug traffickers. This caused the taliban to form in resistance.
      3) The taliban wanted to rid afghanistan of heroin trade, prostitution and people trafficking and this is why they formed to fight both corrupt Afghan nationals and Russian international drug traffickers.
      3) Within 2 years travelling by foot village to village they took power over 80% of the country and eliminated the detestable acts that existed before they formed.
      4) Within 1 and a half years of control of the country they reduced the heroin trade from 60% pre taliban to around 10% post taliban, offering land to farmers growing poppy seed crops with the mandate "grow a different crop and this land is yours or we will bury you in this land".
      5) The sane, fair and honorable act of not turning over Osama Bin Laden without proof he is guilty of accused crimes. The world still has not received proof.
      6) Invasion of Afghanistan and attack on taliban by foreign invaders like the USA for unsubstantiated reasons with no supporting evidence. Taliban defended their country as was done vs the Russians.

They are opposite everything Islamic. If Islam is about saving lives, they are about murder, if Islam is about peace, they are about war, if Islam is about preserving people’s wealth, they are about stealing it, if Islam is about mercy, they are about cruelty, if Islam is about ease, they are about hardship, if Islam is about protecting the poor, they are about stealing from it, if Islam is about freedom, they are about restriction, if Islam is about knowledge, they are about ignorance, if Islam is about shura, they are about force, if Islam is about tolerance, they are about dogma. Uttar pradesh and bihar from nawabs of oudh in 1856
Bengal from siraj ud daulah in 1757

@Sheikh Sami I don't know what the name means but the afghans are either the lost Israeli tribe or an Indian gypsy tribe that converted to Islam. They look indian just like Pakistanis because they were indian, so I'm betting on the latter.

This war was completely fruitless, the American populace literally gained nothing. The defense contractors and the politician's wallets grow fatter as they use US taxpayer money to bomb families in Afghanistan, only creating more "extremists", while the US soldiers stand guard by the "poppy" fields. The only thing this war did was increase support for the Taliban within Afghanistan, the US completely and utterly failed to establish a democracy and keep corruption levels in check. Which likely wasn't even their goal in the first place anyways, considering the increase in opium production after the original Taliban rule was replaced by the American puppet government.
They are just weaponizing "women's rights" like they did in Iraq, when they toppled down Saddam's regime and completely destabilized the entirety of Iraq and lied about Iraq's possession of WMDs. If the US genuinely cared about terrorism in Afghanistan, they'd have just accepted Mullah Omar's deal, when he proposed that he'd turn in Osama Bin Laden to the USA if they just provided evidence that he was behind the attack and stopped the bombing of Afghanistan.
But as always, the war-mongering nation continues its conquest and murder under the facade of equality and democracy. America has become the same oppressor the original Americans fought against back in 1776. God save America.
