Bin Laden was also hired by the Saudi/US/Pakistanis (who actually hired him I forget, but everyone was involved) to build roads in Afghanistan for logistical purposes. He used Saudi and US money in addition to his own.

His purpose was to create a road that connects Uzbekistan and Pakistan ports to transport rich hydrocarbon resources all over the world. And after taliban take over i think Pakistan won but millions of people will live miserable lives.

The US can't deny they trained Osama Bin Laden. After killing him, they are still not able to eradicate Al Qaeda. It seems the Al Qaeda is going to haunt the US for many more years to come and unless the US changed its bellicose ways and military solutions to world problems, the Al Qaeda has no choice but to remain a thorn to the US for a long long time to come. New age needs new strategy.

Correction - his attention stayed on Soviet until gulf war and it wasn’t just troops in Muslim lands it was Iraq sanctions , Arabia states being dependent on the west and US breaking their promise to leave by 1996 and end Iraq sanctions which killed million Iraqis mostly women and children . And bin laden was insignificant by that point letters showed that he was being ignored due to his isolation and was only figure head

Osama who took responsibility for many things denied his involvement in 9/11 more than 2 times in his recordings.
    Why would he?
Not to mention the whole operation was planned in Germany, and the majority of the perpetrators were Saudis.
The dumb logic of USA was to invade Afghanistan, when taliban then said on providing evidence, they would LEGALLY extradite osama. Which USA never did.
And USA invaded Iraq on WMDs and sadam having connections to osama. Which is a joke, sadam and osama have mutual hatred, sadam is a secularist, ba'athist .

Normally I use to like your stories but this time you have not mentioned complete history of osama bin Ladin. In fact osama bin ladin and abu hazam as mujahideen was launched by USA ,CIA and Saudi Arabia against Russians in Afghanistan. They were mostly funded and promoted by USA and Saudi Arabia. It is the fact you missed.

They said it wont be a safe haven for folks that wanna terrorise their neighbours and other countries, i think we should believe them!
***It will however be a safe haven for people who wanna establish a shari'a based governments in their own muslim countries! And every country has people from other countries that they use to get soft power in their home countries, some even military power, That is just politics!**
Ex. Like Turkey is a safe haven for the ikhwanul muslimiin and thanks to Turkey for doing that.
