My son nun chucked the screen on his 15" Victus. Following your guide made it easy to replace. Luckily the adhesive didnt break on me. $70 for a new screen and 15 minutes of my time is way better than the $200+ HP wanted to charge. Thanks!
Got my laptop fixed in 20min! I thought the replacement screen was coming with adhesive but it didn’t so i ended up reusing the adhesive from before and it held just fine. Thanks for the tutorial!

Hi Rick, were you be able to remove the new screen's protection film off "after" you installed the screen bezel in that way, which hasn't been shown in the end of the video?

We got an HP Victus laptop with the screen part number INNOLUX N161HCA-EAC 0HC103C17F200T4. The screen backlight cable was split and not working. Is it possible to replace just the backlight for the screen, or should we replace the whole screen?
Hello, I also have the same 60Hz screen but from what I searched online it is not possible to change to a 120Hz screen because the 60Hz has a 30pin connector while the 120Hz has a 40pin connector. You can look it up yourself just to make sure.

I was talking about the little bar plug that connects the screen to the computer not the adhesive. The 30 prong thing. The plug to the screen. Anyway thank you for responding to my question, 20 seconds after I posted it the thing came loose.

So I replaced a cracked screen on my victus laptop, it was working fine before the replacement. Got eveything lined up and looking good, but it won't power on with the battery or the power cord. The power supply is good because the LED by the charger port lights up when plugged in. The battery was just working fine before replacement. Interestingly,i hav another same laptop and when i connect my same charger laptop charges up but not the screen replaced one. NEED HELP ASAP @rickstechrepair

My bezel got ripped from the right hinge side and i contacted hp service and they're literally charging Rs.13k just for replacing the front bezel
I would be thinking the back LCD cover and hinges also got replaced
