    I'm hoping to complete on my home buy in early 23'. Got a large garden and hoping to build an office like this, that can also be used as a garden room, but not looking to run fresh water or waste water to or from the room. It'll be about 30m from the house (South Wales) any interest?

  • @MatthewCyUK
    @MatthewCyUK ปีที่แล้ว

    We're moving house in the next quarter to a Wigan postcode (WN8 area) and my wife has agreed I can have an outdoor office (abt 3x5) with the proceeds of our sale. Your builds look fantastic and you can see the work that goes into them; would you do a job that far over from where you're based?

    At the end of the day people just want to know what the price of such a build is.
    Any chance you will share that here?

      @ Raj Sidhu Yes I agree absolutely. We need to know the price in order to decide whether we can think of building such building or not. Giving the figures of how much it costs would have helped enormously.

    • @metitusable
      @metitusable 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Completely wrong. I spent around 3K on 3 big windows (1,8 wide), 3 French doors, all triple glass. The real cost is more like 7K, excluding man hours.

    • @paulpatterson1972
      @paulpatterson1972 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I was quoted £5500 for a 3m wide bifold door and one window. This was installation price with 10 year warranty from express bifold in Leeds.
      I know you can get cheaper but I was estimating using similar spec ect.

      @@paulpatterson1972 Don't forget to negotiate with those large windows/doors companies. Bit irrelevant to the type of doors you're talking about but in my example: all windows + front&back doors replacement in my 2 bedroom house in Sheffield:-
      6 double glazed windows and 2 doors I got quotations of more than £5k-£6k total, by 3 different companies. After hard negotiation, I got it at £3,750. This including installation with 10 year warranty.
