The food in Houston is the best. Even Keith Lee understands.

I'm originally from Los Angeles, which is plenty diverse, and which has a great foodie scene, but I'd say Houston has even more diversity than LA and a better foodie scene too!

We love LA! We had some of the best takoyaki there in little Japan 🤤

I LOVE Korea town in Spring Branch! We went to a noodle house over there and it had the best kimchi and cold noodles

By the way I think Houston may actually be the 3rd most biggest city in the USA now, bigger than Chicago which seems to have lost a lot of its population while Houston seems to have gained a lot. I guess we'll see in the next census.

I’d believe it. It feels like Houston has grown so fast in the last years!

I don't know about all that. Considering there is still about a 300,000 gap between the two cities. I don't think that many people have moved there in that short span of time. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chicago

Houston has no income tax, but it amongst the highest sales tax, property tax, and home insurance rates in the country. Just some perspective

Their sales tax couldn't be as high as Cook County (Chicago).

All true. The man’s gonna get his cut one way or another! There are some rumblings about some property tax reforms though to provide some relief, so stay posted!

@REALHOUSTONLIVING the home insurance rates are on par with Florida due to the storms on the gulf coast. The property taxes and insurance can be greater than the mortgage

You said in your last video you didn't like Houston because there weren't "seasons" there. But you also say, you hated the winters where you grew up. You do realize that winter is a part of seasonal change? Also, Houston is the FIFTH largest metro area and the FOURTH largest city . Dallas is actually the fourth-largest metro area in the United States. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metropolitan_statistical_area#:~:text=The%20387%20metropolitan%20statistical%20areas%20of%20the%20United,%20%20%2B4.01%25%20%2014%20more%20rows%20

I mainly miss the fall and at some level I miss the change in seasons, but winter is definitely my least favorite.
Thank you for sharing the stats! They change all the time so it can be tough to get it right. Appreciate you 👊
