thank you so much, I placed my transfer backwards and could not get the press back open, luckily it still transferred to the sweat shirt. My first press and this happens

I was just speaking of this stuff..I got sublimation ink on my tumbler press.. have you done a video showing it Removing the ink residue..and do you clean yours each time you press to avoid ink transferring to your shirts etc???

Hey Marilyn, thanks for watching! This video shows me removing any kind of residue that may have transferred onto the top of my plate.
I do not clean my heat press after each press. My press for the most part, remains pretty clean even with me not using parchment or butcher paper for my dye sublimation projects. But, the EZ off recommend to use it daily. 😊
