My 1st spin class was very uncomfortable, my butt hurt so much during class with those standing up and down moves. After the class when I got off the bike, my legs felt like jelly. For more tha 1 week, my thighs are in pain.
Also padded bike shorts can help as well. I have a spin bike at home, but I purchased a new seat. Even with the shorts, I was still in pain with the seat I had.

Thanks for this. I also purchased a gel seat, a wide one, since I remember the spin bike seat being uncomfortable

Excellent tips! Thank you!
Cool! Thanks Brandi. I don’t think I ever properly adjusted my bike and I know I never adjusted the tension.
Glad you got something out of Brandi's tips! Thanks for commenting

Great tip! A few experts recommended that to me to include in the article. I've never tried it personally but supposedly it really works.
Doing my first spin class in 2 hours! Pray for me!
Does using a gel cover make it so your body doesn’t get used to the saddle?
