We know that our muscles get sore when we work them hard, whether that’s through lifting heavy weights, doing tons of reps, or burning them out through long or intense cardio. But why do legs get more sore than your other muscles? The simple answer is that there are many muscles in your legs, and they’re q...

Consumers beware!! This business in New York City is falsely and fraudulently advertises services ,they refuse to honor, on 12/27/2024 I visited the company's website where under the following promotion to grant a 3 day pass to New members, when I signed the 3 day pass was reduced to a one day pass, when I visited the nearest gym at 80 Leonard Street upon request of proof of identity I offered my passport,is when I was served that only New York state residents are eligible for the pass , the company representative a sub-contractor not an employee of the company has begin to pressure me to purchase a day pass at a cost of $35.00 I declined I explained the sub-contractor of the company that if they attempt to force me into arbitration, then I'm entitled to be in the presence of an attorney licenses to practice law in the state of New York.

I prepared myself for the stair master by walking on a 15 inclined treadmill for 30 mins a day. I just finished a 30 min session on the stair master on level 6 and I wasn’t exhausted yet. If you’re intimidated by the stair master start with the treadmill and work your way up.

Ive had 2 LA Fitness memberships. I just started a membership at Crunch. Crunch is way better than LA Shitness. “But what about the pool?” I dont swim and therefore dont guve a rats ass about a pool. “But what about the basketball court?” Id rather have a pool, and you know my answer for a pool. “But what about racket ball?” I have a dick and balls, and do not like dick in my ass, and therefore dont play racket ball. La fitness never has enough equipment. They also will hire anybody off the street to fill a position. So a lot of the employees at LA fitness are brain dead fuck nuggets who dont know their ass from a hole in the ground. They also have active scammers using their name on caller ID for phone calls, and they refuse to do anything about it. Crunch on the other hand: -Has more than enough equipment so you are never fighting anyone for a machine or anything -has like 15 heavy bags at every location. Its rare to find an LA with a heavy bag and if you do find one, they have like 1 MAYBE 2. -Hires people who are able to use their brains and respond to your questions with an actual answer instead of saying “uhhhhhhhh I actually dont knooooooow? Lemme go find my manager…….ohhhhhhh hes at lunch at 5:30 in the evening 🤷🏼‍♂️” Oh also, why the fuck is the manager at LA fitness always at fucking lunch? Like what in the fuck is going on over there? LA fitness sucks dick dude I will never step foot in one again. Crunch is so much better in every way.

DON'T sign up for personal training! They make you agree to a $200 + monthly EFT from your credit card that is hard as hell to get out of. You sign a contract that you will pay for six months of training, then after that, they bill you monthly unless you send a certified letter to the national office in LA. Even then, they sill might continue taking it out. There have been at leas three class action law suites against the company for this issue, yet this fraud of a company still does it! I had to cancel my credit card so they wouldn't be able to take out any more money, and they still bugged me about it. STAY AWAY FROM THIS FRANDLENT COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!

I want to share my frustrating experience with personal training at Waterloo Crunch. After completing the 12-class training package, I expected the sessions to stop automatically, but they continued to deduct money from my account. Despite informing the training associate and Crunch one month prior to my relocation, they never responded to my emails. As a result, they deducted $120 from my account, which is extremely frustrating. The personal training program at Waterloo Crunch feels like a waste of money. Even after cancellation, they continue to charge you without addressing the issue. I used Kitchener Crunch for a year, and they were great, but my experience with Waterloo Crunch has been disappointing. I advise others to be cautious before joining personal training at Waterloo Crunch.

DON'T STRETCH if you don't want to stay at home for a few extra days. Stretching is good and all, but it makes your muscles more sore. Instead, do some light movements like walking or low intensity biking.

I’m surprised Ben Aldis isn’t on this list. His HIIT classes are absolutely brutal! I really enjoy Kendall and Olivia’s classes but they are brutal as well especially Olivia. Kendall’s hardest classes are her heavy metal rides I took one that was rated a 9.2. That class was so brutal I wasn’t even meeting the minimums for about 1/3 of the class and I still got 260 output at the end of the ride which was a personal best at the time for a 30min class

Great break for those who is using only one part of service due to health. If my sincere request will hear by management then i will say YES IT IS GOOD , UNTIL THRN MAY LORD BLESS US ALL SO WE CAN SERVE ALL WITH SIMILAR WAY . SOME PAYING $ 50 PER MONTH AND OTHER PAYING $ 260 PER YEAR FOR 2 PEOPLE. REALLY PAINFUL .

I’m a real nut for watching tv shows or anime, and I hate working out mostly cause of boredom (aka brain rot) so I chose the stair master cause I can actually pay attention cause of the slowness of it. 40 minutes goes so fast it’s crazy. Might go to one hour soon. I didn’t realize it was actually what I needed in my workout routine which is lucky, as I need to work on my core.
