We own one of these, currently based in the Great Lakes. Very pleased with the livability as well as the build quality. This generation of Jeanneau’s were built with fiberglass stringers, not the modular grid system that is more common later. And the hull layup was infused with Kevlar. It's a pretty beefy boat, coming in at 42,000 pounds when loaded for cruising. Finally, the boat sails really well and there are currently more 54DS’s of this particular generation doing long distance open ocean traveling than any other specific make/model sailboat. The prior owner of our boat sailed it 13 consecutive years in the ARC 1500 Caribbean cruising rallies, 1500 miles of open ocean from Norfolk, VA to St. Johns BVI's with returns, including two side trips to Bermuda. The head of Jeanneau says this series of 54DS (2002 to 2009) was the best boat Jeanneau ever made.
I could have told y'all that moving to Canada was a bad idea!! And that tub is wildly over priced. Someone is gonna get the shocks of their lives when they begin to dig into that boat. It needs a LOT of attention.

Good to see you back...handsome Jeanneau....looks like a bow thruster at the helm to assist with short handed sailing.
I have minimal sailing knowledge, but if I had a spare $400k, I would buy this boat just to live on it someplace. It's beautiful!
That would be a great boat to spend the summer on
Looking forward to seeing you more often and sooner. Can you do some catamarans?
And Trimarans.
Sangat bagus kapal nya dan sangat komplit
How did they get the washer down there not threw that small hatch😮
Btw of you ever get yhe chance can you do a kraken 50 or preferably a 66
What type of keel and rudder are these Jeanneau 54 DS
When does the next video drop? I need my fix!
This boat is already sold.
That’s a SPADE anchor, not a DELTA anchor!
Get a free Sailing DirtyBird Yacht 😮
