Just seeing this but you are awesome for doing this. My little sister relied on several angel flights to get her to and from treatment in New York City, without the treatment she wouldn't be with us today. Thank you and all pilots who volunteer to do this.

Great job! I had a good chuckle at the beginning when you noticed all the geese and how you didn't want to pull a Sully. Thank you for sharing.
I'm almost positive I painted that Delta 717 that was first in line when you came in.

One time I flew my SR22 to BOS and they made me keep up 130kts until 2nm out so I glided to about half the runway left. Once on ground the ATC made a joke saying to the A321 behind me “caution wake turbulence, single engine in front of you!”
16:03 I always love those “keep your speed up” instructions - I recall hearing this immediately after the C182 touched down at KSFO. You realize you are tiny - your max speed in flight is roughly their V1 and you’ve got an Airbus on short final behind you. No time to dilly-dally.

AFmedic6871 - lucky you. Without that luxury, a few capitalize on a regular American upbringing and supportive family and apply their smarts, entrepreneurial flair, and a lot of hard work to achieve impressive goals in life.
Joe Black - I think you misunderstood! It was more of a "Sour-Grapes/envious" type of comment coming from someone (me) who was NOT from the "privileged Rich Class". Yes! There are some who are able to fight the odds and attain a PPL but essentially, flying is reserved for the rich.
Dexter - Sure wish I had your "Rose Colored Glasses" As I said - there are few (damn few) that buck the odds and get a PPL. But once you get your PPL average cost to rent a wet plane is between $110 - $170 per hour....
It's doable IF you are single, rent a cheap dump, eat Ramon Noodle, don't date, and basically have no life.
I stand by my statement that flying is primarily a rich man's hobby. Notice - I said "primarily" and NOT "only"!
Thanks for sharing this Angel Flight. You guys go un-thanked all too often. In emergency situations, we focus on other things, but just know that you're definitely not forgotten. Great video!

Very entertaining clip. Brings back memories from back in the early 1990's when me and my late buddy used to fly cancelled checks from Portland, Maine to Boston then on to Bradley and back to Portland in a Baron 55. I was a newly minted private pilot back then and flying right seat in the Baron into those airports was a great experience.

I was not aware of the idea behind Angel Flights and do not think they happen here in the UK. My flying channel is more to do with recreational flying in an old French plane from a farm strip.
