Absolutely gorgeous vlog. Like the way your little one shows some of the top spots. He is gonna be a star. Traveling on this route in a week time but in reverse order.
I enjoyed while watching the video. When did you travel , I'm also planning to do a roadtrip end of September but afraid of slippery roads due to the weather conditions.
Hi! This trip was in the end of July, so summer time in Norway. I think end of September should be ok. Just have a look at the weather forecast beforehand.
Hi, I think all these roads are open in April, but I cannot guarantee it. Most roads are ok to drive, but at some places the roads are a bit narrow. This is worst for those driving big RV's though. Its ok for normal cars as long as you are concentrated at all times.
Hi, the trip in the video was made in the beginning of August so that should give you an idea. However the weather could be significantly better too if you are lucky. Just make sure to bring some warm and wind/waterproof clothes as well.
Hi Erik. I and my friend are going to retire this year and we plan to travel to Norway. Is it safe for us two retired ladies to travel there? Hope you can give us some tips. Thank you.
Hi Tan, yes it should be very safe for you to travel around Norway. Just take the normal precautions as you would in any country, especially in the big cities. Just for fun I typed your question into the artificial intelligence site Chat GPT and they gave me this answer :). Have a nice trip! 😊: "Hello! Norway is generally a safe country to travel to, even for retired ladies. However, like any country, there are always some precautions that you should take to ensure your safety. Here are some tips that might be useful: Stay aware of your surroundings and be cautious when in crowded areas or public transportation. Avoid walking alone in isolated areas, especially at night. Keep your valuables, such as passport and money, in a secure place and avoid carrying large sums of cash. Consider purchasing travel insurance before your trip to cover any unexpected events. Learn a few basic phrases in Norwegian to help you communicate with locals and navigate your way around the country. Dress appropriately for the weather and wear comfortable shoes for exploring. Research the areas you plan to visit and stay up to date on any travel advisories or warnings. Overall, with some common sense and preparation, you should have a safe and enjoyable trip to Norway. Have a great time!"
Hi Rajiv, check out the website for the Norwegian train service "vy.no". They have alternatives for train and busses. The website is available in English as well.

What month & day did you start your trip, please?
Hi again, this trip was in the beginning of August.
@@erikssc Thanks. Did not realize that this trip was part of your Geiranger, Loen, & Flam trip.
No, this one was not part of that trip. This one is from one year earlier.
