      That lightweight flywheel is Junk for all motor.Use a FN Type R flywheel or the OEM Z3 flywheel and you will know the difference on how faster the engine Torque. I had Lightweight flywheel before and didn't like it

    Plz. Tell me about this light weight flywheel. I have heard from few people that with light weight fly wheel u will. Loose torque in traffic. Roads and in streets. And u have to apply more race pedal to move the car from stand still. Point, which will effect fuel. Efficiency. I think the oem fly wheel of oem weight is good one, what do u say about it?

    I swapped to type s pump on my k24a. The z3 pan I believe is the same as k24a. The type s pan doesn’t have where to bolt the rear motor mount. How did you go about that?

    Heloo bro. I want to ask u, what's the improvement u felt after installing this light weight pump? Or your oem was fine too in terms of power and performance, I have accord euro r cl7 all stock k20a, will it be good decision to install this pump in euro r cl7 k20a and remove the oem one which has rbc code on it?

    • @AutoBodyEverything
      @AutoBodyEverything 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Maybe it didn’t work out well for him?🤷‍♂️ the k24’s have the balancer unit because the k24’s have a 99mm stroke vs the k20’s have an equal bore/stroke ratio so the k20’s are perfectly balance by design.

    • @hassansafeer7411
      @hassansafeer7411 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@AutoBodyEverything as per my experience, k24 oem oil pump and accord euro r oem oil pump rbc code ,these both are best for low and midrange rpm torque ,these pumps make more torque in low and midrange rpm as compared to type s oil pumps,so my conclusion is k24 oem pump and accord euror oil pumps are made to get low rmp torque for heavy weight vehicles .like accord ,tsx,oddesey ,crv jeap ,type s pumps are best for light weight vehicles as type s pump produce less torque in low rpm so type s pumps suits to low weight vehicles .that's what honda engineers did ,they installed type s pump in all light weight vehicles.up till fd2 type r .after that all the heavy weight vehicles have k24 oem oil pumps .

    Balance shaft serves few functions, The most important function is remove secondary vibrations from the pistons. It’s an inherited issue for all inline 4 engine

    • @wkndbikeshop
      @wkndbikeshop 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @LAD Teknologies the rule of thumb are if it's 2000cc or larger engine, usually car manufacturer will add balance shaft.. and the stroke needs to be 100mm or shorter to be "ideal" for balance shaft delete

    • @AutoBodyEverything

      I don’t think that the oil pans from k20 to k24 are interchangeable. The k24’s should have a deeper oil pan in order to fit the balancing mechanism.

    do you have any knowledge about the k24z7 for the 9th gen civic? im planning to add a rsx type s oil pump to it. Will it have any damage & will it need a tune? & why is the change better than having it stock?

    • @Maggot00679
      @Maggot00679 17 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Honestly not worth it for the k24z7. These pumps are good at higher RPM, which you most likely won't be hitting with that specific k24 on stock internals.

    • @AutoBodyEverything
      @AutoBodyEverything 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No in his case the reason for the swap is because the balance mechanism utilizes the pump as part of its design vs the k20’s without the balance mechanism Will only be a different style pump that does not occupy the balance mechanism.

    Hi Anthony, it seems like there are a lot of sources that say to use RBB oil pump from 2007 civic type r instead of the Type S PRB oil pump for your FG2.
    Did you have any issues with oil pressure, cavitation or chewewed up bearings?
    If you didn't have any of those issues then it VTech Academy any many other people are wrong about using RBB pump and the reality is PRB, RBB and s2k one can all be used. (Of course you get the windage tray and cut the pump if needed).

    • @apollonitro4802
      @apollonitro4802 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The ideal oil pump to replace the stock one on the z3 is the rrc oil pump from the fd2 type r. It bolts onto the z3 girdle with no cutting, and the oil pan on the k20a in the fd2 is identical to the oil pan on the z3, so you dont have to worry about cavitation

      If you daily the car more often then anything. Stick with the factory pump. There is just a lot less engine vibration overall. But if you have to free every single HP you can and like to rev a bit higher safer go with the RSX Type S. It allows you to rev a bit higher safer then the factory Z3 pump.
