I really want to track this car but quite honestly this is going to be my forever car and I don't think I'll ever hit the track with this car. Maybe in the future build something to hit the track🤔
More volume and pressure and the vtc allows for more tuning capabilities. Usually you don’t need more than 40-45* but it’s way better than the stock 25*
Only ran the engine for a few minutes as of today and haven't noticed any problems. This is a pretty common upgrade on k24s and no one I've talked to had any problems with it
You can but you will have to remove your front sway bar or run the em2 front sway bar which is why I went with the DTR K24 swap header. It clears the rsx front sway bar. Will be showing this later on when it's in the car. The k24 is just a little taller than the k20 causing this issue. Most people will say front sway bar doesn't effect performance but it definitely does so I wouldn't go that route
You should have changed the chains, tensioners, and guides, those are a fail point. Any time you’re in there, change it.
When we meet up at the track and go rip some VTEC bro? Bring this thing out the track, you will not regret it!

What's the rev range of the setup after doing this upgrade?
What is the point of a type S oil pump? Do they produce more volume? And same with the 50* VTC. Benefits? I have a k24a2 in my FA5.

@@4runrJay thank you very much!
not only that, k24 oil pump is heavy and has balancing shafts that dont really like high rpm and at high rpm they can cause cavitation and fail
@@RussetBlaze thank you very much
Does the oil pump cause excessive vibration?

Can you use the stock rsx headers for a k24 swap?
