On my way to London Transport Museum - watching some amazing street performers along the way.
London have some of the best street performers and today was no exception
Once I arrived at the London Transport Museum, it was great to walk around and capture the entire history of transport in the city of London

Yet another gem again Dazza... Great to see London opening up again, fingers crossed it stays that way. Brilliant coverage of the transport museum. My favourite place in London : Covent Garden!!! Ironically , I haven't visited the transport museum...it's must for me next time... My daughter got a picture with the builder in metallic paint and spade back in 2013 (don't think is the same guy ) Gracias Darren 👍

Just had 3 days with mum in London…. We had breakfast at the duck and waffle best breakfast we’ve ever had .. worth a visit … we also went to the brand’s museum at ladbrooke grove … really good ….The transport museum looks really good 👍 keep up the good work 👍👍

Loved your video. As a child my parents took us to the Transport Museum in the late '70's. It was like revisiting those days again. Nostalgia for me and a museum I want to revisit . Thanks for this. Xx

Another great upload Darren, thanks for sharing. Spent a lot of my time in the '80's in London and have some fantastic memories. It's changed, but so has everywhere. It's so full of history and so vibrant, has a unique atmosphere. Mainly come down on business now, I'm in York which has history & culture but London is in a different league...I'm in my late 50's but still get a buzz when I get off the train at Kings Cross, my favourite City.
I always say history is priceless, fascinating

In 2021 the population of London was 9.3 million. I remember the steam trains in the 1950s. My father would take me on them from Liverpool Street Station. We would go to Southend for the day and I would eat lots of sugary peppermint rock that had Southend written all the way through it.

Have actually been here! (many moons ago!). Seems to have lots more exhibits now....children were little, and spent most of time keeping a beady eye on them....may re-visit, if time permitting, this week. Fab vlog, love the smell of old carriages, Darren....real mahogany and brass....😽🙂

The transport museum is a fantastic place,on our annual Xmas meet & drinks meet up we friends from down south,we got 90 minutes behind schedule visiting here on our itinerary for the day.

when asked about a museum my response is "meh - can take them or leave them" - then I think back to how many I have been to and realise how much I am lying to myself lol - transport museums - engineering - don't let me near a car or motorbike museum lol.....just realised I have been to Beaulieu about 6 times !! - Then there are trains - I live near the NYMR so been there quite a lot and just got back from a holiday in Bournemouth so when you go to Swanage there is the steam railway to visit - be rude not to really........ keep up the good work as you live in Museum Central in London

Hey there DJ! What an awesome Vlog! You bring something new and fresh each time. Love the street buskers though I’m always fascinated with the silver floating guy staying up there all day and still too. The museum is fabulous! Always brings lumps to throat looking back at history when and imagining it then for London folk. I get that just walking around our local Bury transport and Fusiliers museum too. So much nostalgia and facts in history. Love the music by the way. It’s so calming the playing while you wander around. OFF THE CHARTS as always Dazza. Keep em comin 😀👍🏻👍🏻

Great update fella, blimey the last time I went up to London (from the West Sussex coast) and used a tube was in the early 80's and I remember the wooden floors. We have been to the smoke a few times since to see a few shows however that was by coach as driving up there and parking is not an option. 👍

It seems not many people enjoy museums - however, I have a great time filming them
The population of London today from the government figures is about 9,5 million the true numbers is anyone’s guess. Compare that to the population of Paris at 2,2 million and that gives you a rough idea just how over populated we are . Great vlog , once the oil has gone and the Chinese have all the lithium were be back to using horses again . Keep the greens happy . Best regards from Vietnam 🇻🇳

I'm into transport so what I did a few years ago was do a 2 day event and went to the transport museum in London one day then the next day I went up to York to see the railway museum, you need 2 days because you can easily spend a day in each, I'd love to do it again because like I said that was quite a few years ago now and things have changed at both of them now

Since I got out Friday Darren I ended up back in the following Monday and because of a&e labelling my medication wrong I was taken to a&e again Thursday this week because I'd mistakenly been given an overdose of morphine by the a&e staff 5 times higher than the dose I should have been given 😳

I love Covent Garden but have never been inside the museum, I’d no idea it had all those exhibits inside! ( was that Alan Partridge sat inside the carriage at 17.58?😂)
Yet again another cool vlog Darren, thank you and I’m with you on the steam trains....I live really close to the Severn Valley Steam Railway and have spent many a day travelling along the line in one of those old carriages. 😁

it is 9m - 10m
Population is 900 Million in 2020
