- I'm giving you a detailed tour of the kitchen! In this video, I'm opening cabinets and drawers to show you the layout of the kitchen. I even give you a glimpse inside of the white, GE Cafe appliances (range, refrigerator, dishwasher, and beverage center). I'm also providing details on why we made the decisions we did regarding the kitchen design.

Your kitchen is my FAVORITE place thus far. I love the choice of the Café appliances and the refrigerator is really nice. The drawers are totally handy and functional! We love being able to pull out drawers instead of digging through cabinet shelves. That is a design decision we're happy about.

The GE Cafe Line is walking into the big leagues with my favorites ..Sub Zero, Wolf, Viking, Thermador ,Bosch, etc.. White appliances is a pleasant vibe. The interior of the refrigerator is progressive, you can actually see all the food..I see you didn't get the pot filler which is waste of coins to me..Functionality is essential in the kitchen, you nailed it on all aspects......👍🙂
Thanks! The GE Cafe line is definitely leaning towards the luxury appliances. And yes, sometimes you have to pick function over aesthetics.
Great Space. How have the Appliances held up. What things would you do differently having lived in here 2 years?
Hi! One of the knobs on our range has come off twice. We’ve had to use our warranty both times. Fortunately, GE has been super responsive. But other than the range issue, the appliances have held up beautifully!
First I’ve been loving your channel and watching you decorate your beautiful home. I’ve loving your kitchen and would like to know the name and where you purchased your backsplash and also your cabinet hardware. I’ll keep watching and look forward to more videos!
Hello and thank you! I purchased the backsplash from a local tile company and the cabinet hardware came from the cabinet company that built and installed our cabinets. Unfortunately, I can’t link either.

Love the colors of everything you chose! You’ve got a great eye for that. Love how u used mixed metals too… that’s so cool! The cream color cabinets are gorgeous! Way better then a stark white that u usually see out there! The appliances are perfect in your kitchen! 💖🌺
Thanks for watching and commenting! The cabinet color was probably the hardest to select, but we're so happy with the decision. In contrast, I knew 2 years ago that I wanted the white appliances. Lol

I am planning on buying the same range but I’m worried the opening over the burners will not work for small sauce pans. Do you have any input for that?
We haven’t had any issues with small pots and pans. They fit fine.
I just built a very similar kitchen in my new home and am purchasing the same appliance set. The issue I am having is that there is no matching microwave if you do not do an over the oven range. Where is your microwave? What microwave did you go with??
Congratulations on your new home! We opted to not put a microwave above the range or in the cabinet. We simply put the microwave in the pantry, on a shelf. 🙂 This saved us cabinet space as well as money since we didn’t have to purchase a fancy microwave. I think we purchased our microwave from Walmart-it’s very basic. Lol
Beautiful kitchen. I also chose the Cafe appliances, in stainless. I did get counter width fridge, ours is behind island so it was needed. Mine does have the center drawer. It’s just the two of us so I think we can manage it. I have same counter top and chose Agreeable Gray for cabinets. I had the same reservations as you when I first saw, but now it’s all done, I love it. Kinda wish I’d gone with the white appliances, yours look fabulous!

Can anyone please help me, I purchased a brand new cafe refrigerator on Friday Saturday morning the freezer was making noise. When I open the door no noise when I close the door the noise is LOUD!!!!!! I hear it most where the ice maker is.
Have you contacted GE? Your refrigerator should still be under warranty.

The sides are black. SO DISAPPOINTING for such expensive appliances.
Yes, unfortunately they are black. For the refrigerator, we purchased the white side panel to cover up the black and it looks great. I think GE was assuming their customers would have cabinets on both sides that would cover up the black panels. 🤷🏽♀️ But I know, it’s still not ideal. We just made it work though.

Thank you! No major problems with the appliances thus far, besides a slight issue with an oven knob coming off twice. Fortunately, the warranty process was pretty easy, so we were able to get it replaced quickly.

Hi and welcome! For the most part the ceilings are 9’, but they are 12’ in the living room and have varying heights in a few other places. But the kitchen is definitely 9’.
I think my slippers are from Walmart, but they were purchased a few years ago. And I am definitely happy with the cafe appliances! However, I’ve had a few things break (knob on the range and egg door in the refrigerator), but the warranty was still valid, so we had no problems getting the pieces replaced.
@Tanelia Major Hi, and thank you! Our kitchen ceilings are also 9', so your post is a great visual for me. I'm We are remodeling ours, changing the footprint a bit, and just wrapping up the layout. Hope to begin by March. I am leaning towards the café appliances and plan to buy them this weekend at Brandsmart to take advantage of a 36-month 0% interest offer. I'll also be checking out Walmart for the slippers! Thanks again 😊🙏

I am remodeling my kitchen and I was thinking about buying cafe appliances. 36” gas range, 2 drawer dishwasher, full size refrigerator and microwave drawer. Are you still happy with your appliances ?
Hi! We’ve only had an issue with our range. For some reason, one of the knobs came off twice. We had to contact GE and use our warranty to get it replaced. Fortunately, GE has been responsive and resolved the issue. However, it was frustrating to have the same knob break twice. But other than the range, all the other appliances have worked great!

BEAUTIFUL 😍 APPLIANCES! I seen them In like a Container Home & I was like those are 🔥 and the Guy said They were by Cafe. I 💖 Bronze, Brass, Gold & Copper Finishes. My Kitchen has Copper, Wood & Marble. That set would be a Dream Set😁$0000.00K and for Display Only🤭🤣 No1 could touch❣
It appears that we both love the warmer metals -- gold, bronze, brass, etc. And you had me literally LOL with your "display only" comment. LOLOL I will say that I give my kids the side eye if their hands aren't clean and they try to touch the appliances. Luckily, the appliances clean up well. But still...LOL

Hi Tanelia, Major Manor is coming along nicely. I love all the storage space, especially on the island. Love, love that your cabinets go all the way to the ceiling. Your island comes off as a dark blue on camera and I thought that color was pretty, but the gray works as well. I also love your appliances and the color too. That is the trend now, putting your spices in glass jars. My spices come in glass jars so I am with you, not switching mine either. Lol Thank you so much for sharing with us.
