I am most happy to report how well this Bible is translated and built. It certainly should last a lifetime and holds it’s own even when compared with premium Bibles costing several times more. The leather cover and thick pages make it one of my favourites.
That’s a very nice edition and that cowhide is extremely beautiful. I have seen many premium bibles but I haven’t seen cowhide that nice on a Bible. Wow.
Another great Video Tim! I have had both the paste down ICR and the GS. In this particular edition I would opt for the Paste Down Cowhide. While the Goatskin is beautiful I think the size of this Block is better suited for the Paste down cowhide as the binding feels tighter and I believe it will actually last longer than the GS which is actually bigger and heavier.

I was hoping to get the goatskin edge-lined version with the art gilt on the outside, but that's no longer available, sadly. It seems the paste-down cowhide is probably the best alternative right now.
Thank you, Tim - much appreciated. I've just received my reddish brown faux leather edition and still separating those pages! Love the 11 point font size for my eyes and the page layout is amazing. The only thing I wish they had done is start every book on a new page (guess that would have added a few more pages to an already hefty Bible).

I have the faux leather edition in black and it is currently my favorite Bible, translation and print edition! I truly am grateful for the LSB all around. Goes very well as a companion to other versions, I especially like the BSB side by side with the LSB, but also the HCSB
I had a faux leather that I bought on Amazon. The liner started to peel up within a few weeks so I had to send it back. The paper and layout the best I’ve ever seen
Liking this Bible in the faux leather. Love the layout and paper. Wish it laid a bit more flat. Mostly, hope it holds up well. That seems to be the biggest concern for all.
Be praying for me because I ordered an ICR LSB a week ago and it was suppose to arrive within three business days. But it never did and according to my FedEx app ot was never shipped out. Now I receive an email saying the color I ordered was out of stock and although I told them what other color I wanted after being offered an alternative. They haven't responded yet and what's worst. I know they won't response anytime in the next couple aof days knowing there off on the weekends. Even worst the email says due to high call volumes the next response should at worst be 3 business days so i might not hear back from them till wednesday. So definitely pray God will work this out and give me patience in the meantime.
Good video my friend. I had posted a photo on the LSB group page a few days ago of my LSB ICR along with the 70's NASB and a NKJV wide margin reference Bible. The NKJV wide margin reference Bible is also an ICR, but the font size is a little smaller at 8.5. Now if we could get the NLT in this same font size, format and quality as the LSB I would be a happy camper. Thanks for the great videos, you always do a great job with them. Have a blessed day.
I find that trying to find a reference with red letter is hard to find in LSB or you get one but not the other- I don’t know why they would take out references in the 1st place- I feel your missing a great part of the Bible- so 1995 nasb has both in classic but why they didn’t add it to LSB
James White can’t stop talking about the LSB. He’s got it with multiple covers. He’s going to do a debate soon why the LSB is superior to the KJV,(maybe he already did, idk). Not controversial at all 😂 Just subbed Tim thanks to Dear Woke Christian. 👍 I love my LSB, ESV, NASB, and even my KJV to listen to on tape. (Not that there are real tapes😆) The KJV read by a Brit, lovely.
I doubt it. Look who owns the LSB and look who owns the MacArthur Study Bible. Unless some licensing agreement happens, I don't see it happening. Just my $0.02.

I have the deep brown goatskin edition. Paper is unreal. One broken in it's an amazing Bible.
I really like the layout and such as well. But I can’t do an 11 pt font. I’m thinking of getting a NASB ‘95 Handy Size for the font and affordability.

AGREE. firmness of a bible cover in a pew always a plus, or sitting in my chair at home... edge lined a little overrated in my book

How can you know if when you order from 316 Publishing that you are getting a LSB with the refinements that were made vs a first edition?

A MacArthur Study Bible edition of the LSB is coming in November 2024.
how heavy is it? compared to the macarthur study bible premier collection if you remember? if not in general how heavy?

I bought NLT and wanting LSB but I have been convicted on buying KJV because of memorization and it won’t change.
Is the 5 Solas a good size or is it big?
I think the Five Solas (goatskin) is the same size text block as the handy size but with a full yapp.
