    Mina is the worst thing that ever happened to K-pop. She unleashed the hell gate of false bullying accusations. The idols virtually can’t defend themselves since a) there’s no proof b) the public will just jump on the hate train, their whole career vanished into thin air c) the dirt on their name can never be wash since the anti will leech on it like a mad dog

      Honestly she and Hyunjoo (it’s been confirmed that she also lied about the bullying) are the worst things that ever happened in kpop. Difference between Hyunjoo and Mina, is that people actually still believed that APRIL bullied her, even though it’s been exposed by Korean netizens that she lied since the dates in her tale contradicted to what she was telling the media. Even when APRIL tried to tell their side of the situation, people were calling them victim blamers. But when AOA stayed silence during the whole thing, people were wondering why they didn’t just expose Mina? Kpop Stan’s can’t make their mind, you tell your side of the story, you’d toll receive hate. You stay silence, still receive hate.

      Why would Jimin be in the wrong? What you usually do as the leader in those projects is you let the authorities know that this person is doing jack shit and you don't want to share credit with them, resulting in the lazy person getting an F or, better yet, getting kicked out and needing to do the work by themselves.
      In work settings it's even more important than ever to let the supervisor know so this person can either be demoted and given a useless task like reading newspapers and given the minimum salary (if you can't fire them) so they are out of the way and management doesn't give the group tasks for 6 people when only 5 will work. Or, again, better yet, the lazy person is fired and won't fob off the work on other people and waste other people's time and efforts by forcing everyone to reschedule and field of questions on why the lazy one isn't there.
      Jimin's flaw, which admittedly could've been a systemic flaw of FNC if they don't have the mechanisms for it, was not going to a supervisor and telling them to do something about the lazy Mina since everything she said went in one ear and out the other. As it is, the more I hear about Mina's lack of professionalism, the more I'm scratching my head over how on earth she wasn't fired from AOA years ago.

    To me, Mina did all of that out of jealousy. She left AOA thinking they were almost done, but instead they got to participate in Queendom. That meant NEW fans, songs, performances, popularity, and probably more money. Her attempt at acting was not going well (she admitted online) and she let her jealousy take over. She thought if she was going to be misersble, they should be miserable as well.

      Mina's a lazy-ass who felt that a supervisor, Jimin, yelling at her for not being on time, getting hair transplants on the day they had dance practice, and just generally doing barely the bare minimum was "bullying"
      If I was in Jimin's shoes, I wouldn't even bother to scold her after the 4th time she did something like that, I would've just gone to management and told them to just fire her because there's no point in putting any effort into Mina when she won't put any effort into anything.

    Hello Midnight,
    I have a question!
    Shortly after breaking the stress with Jimin, Mina claimed she was a manager at a coffee house in Seoul, only to find out a few months later that she was just a lowly waitress there, unhappy even with her tip.
    Is there anything true about this story? It would be very enlightening if you would take the trouble to examine Mina's career in a little more detail. Something doesn't seem right about her. I would be happy if you could provide an update accordingly. Thanks.

    i feel a little sympathy for mina, but I feel so much more sympathy for jimin. Also, my dislike of mina far overrides my sympathy for her. She ruined a whole group of people just because she was too mentally weak to take valid criticism. She should have went to therapy rather than become a kpop idol becuase idol training is really stressful. It's definitely mina's fault. Jimin criticised mina and was strict, but so what? She was the LEADER of a group, and everyone else responded to it fine...Mina was going through a hard time because her father passed, but so did Jimin's father...now imagine your father passed away, but you still need to work hard all the time because you are leader, and a while later one of your "friend"s lies about you and causes the whole internet to cancel, insult and send you death threats for the longest time, even after you already apologised. And all the while the liar is acting like the victim, gaslighting you, insulting you, and won't give it up even years later. I would be traumatised and I'm sure the majority of people would be. In fact I would have probably unalived myself if that ever happened. Jimin is so strong, and I know she will continue to thrive. Mina should just disappear off the internet

    • @dirgmario
      @dirgmario 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I think Jimin and Choa may have some personal beef/unresolved issues unrelated to the Mina situation. A few days ago I read a recent article where Choa said in a video or live with other girls that the real reason she left AOA was because, paraphrasing, she's a very perfectionist person and thought that there was no point in "continuing in the business" if she couldn't be the best, and she was not able to handle a lot of the criticism (Which Is ironic considering that she was objectively the best singer and third best musician in the group). I believe that when Choa left, Jimin probably didn't take it too well because we know both Choa and Jimin were the oldest and more "in-charge" members (Jimin being the official leader and Choa being the oldest member"), so Jimin probably relied a lot on Choa's help and support for leading the group and might have felt let down when she left; also, Chronologically and from a business perspective, Choa left at a very bad time; they had just released their first and only full length album which didn't do great commercially because of the scandals of the prior year; AOA was starting to leave their peak era, so Choa leaving, the second most popular member and the Voice of the group (again, she was the most important vocalist) definitely would hurt (and indeed ended up hurting) the group's popularity, so yeah, probably Jimin was somewhat understandably upset or at the very least disappointed at Choa. So they might to this day not be in the best terms.
      This is of course, speculation, I don't have proof that this is exactly what happened, but it is an educated guess, as someone that was at one point a very hardcore fan of AOA.

    • @hmhm856
      @hmhm856 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@dirgmariothe problem that AOA encountered, along with KPOP in general, is that the golden era of KPOP was 2010-2016, which is when KPOP became this global sensation, and not just in Asian countries.
      AOA paid off its debt to FNC in 2016, but thats also when the KPOP golden era was reaching its end, thus, less money for idols after 2016, especially if not part of the Big 3.
      I think this is probably one of the reasons why Choa left AOA in 2017, in that she was doing all this work, lack of sleep, and very little financial income.
      And yes, it is an eye-sore how Jimin and Choa dont follow each other on Instagram, when all the other AOA members follow each other (not counting Mina).
      Which saddens me, because I always thought that Jimin and Choa had the most hilarious interactions with one another, especially when they appeared on Weekly Idol.
      And I highly disagree with the original comment in that Jimin probably bullied Choa; puhleaseeeee.
      Also, Choa doesnt follow SeolHyun either on Instagram.
      Bottom line, not counting Mina:
