Nice job! I was on the Liberty yesterday. My buddy and I must have landed over 60-70 fish total. We went 1 for 4 on the yellows. I lost two to seals and the other pulled the hook. It was a great day with a wide variety of species.

Was on that trip. Was a mix of both. Early in the day bait was getting bit left and right. Late afternoon everything was getting bit. Colt Sniper, Surface Irons, bait...etc
I hate the bottom square shape of the Lexa 400 tiburon clamp. Had to file mine round. Also not sure why they say it doesn't work for left handed Lexa 400. Worked on my HD 400 lefty.

All the landings here in Southern California are great. Knowledgeable crew and they put you on fish. Fisherman’s and H&M Landing are great. Daveys locker is also pretty good
marcus olah I was aboard the Mission Belle this day out of Point Loma, SD. Great captain, great crew. Most of the San Diego boats are really good with a great crew. I don’t have personal experience with the boats out of Long Beach or Newport, but I’ve heard the fury, the native sun, and the thunderbird are the boats to get on for that area. Local for me, Channel Islands sportfishing, I recommend the aloha spirit, seabiscut, or the Erna B.
Yellowtail fishing, fly line usually gets bit best. 25lb flouro carbon leader and a 1/0 or 2/0 live bait hook. If you have multiple set ups you’re able to take, if I were to bring 3 set ups it would be fly line, yoyo, and surface iron/surface lure like a colt sniper jerk bait.
I’d say at least 50-60 yards. Mono comes off the spool better and makes it easier for the bait to swim off with ease, so I like to have a good amount of mono on
amoshilel123 it’s tough to say. All 3 are completely different setups for different purposes. The tranx 500 set up is for surface irons, the cavalla set up was for bait, and the lexa 400 set up was universal (bait/light jig stick)

Imagine a 50lb forkie on a Penn 720 spinfisher lol!! Now its custom Stella reels, UV and LED Squid lures and Fluorocarbon that's getting better and better. Used to just throw TAddy irons on straight mono and said prayers not to get cut off on the rocks.
