    I got these for my CD player and was shocked. I just purchased some for my speakers and equally pleased. Josh at Stack Audio is very helpful with any questions and quick to respond.

      Yes, Josh is a real asset to the company. There's no doubt about that. Well, as far as I understand it, the 100s are in transit to me, so there will be plenty of videos coming up.🎧👍😁

    So glad I found your channel and hence Stack Audio. These footers are crazy good. I encourage anybody to at least try a set of these guys out. Currently doing wonders under my amp and DAC. Very thankful!

    Stack Audio’s products are fantastic and Josh’s service is next level, I’m running these under my NAIM 252, SuperCapDR, NDX-2, 555PS DR with a noticeable difference, looking forward to seeing how the speakers go when the 100’s arrive

      @chrissingleton7801 Hi Chris, I've got a few songs to shoot with the ISO Acoustics before I get them underneath, but you should see them soon.🎧👍

    I appreciated this review. I would love to see a follow up using Stack Audio isolaters under speakers.

    Great thoughts, Shane! I own Theo’s mods for my Linn LP12 deck, which include a new sub-chassis baseboard and tonearm board. The original Stack footers with the baseboard came with screw-on footers with a soft sorbothane-like material that contacted the surface of the turntable support rack. It was so soft that I accidentally tore one of the footers by not picking up the deck to micro adjust its location on my rack surface (sliding it instead). Theo kindly sent a set of three additional footers free of charge. So I might try these items, given your luck with them. I’m working through discussions with Robert of Live Vibes Audio to get a set of brass cones and cups to try on the Linn deck to see how they work their magic (if any).

      Cool, that sounds like an interesting little shootout you've got going there yourself. Please keep me informed as to what you find and what your preference was. I'd be interested in that.

      @@shanestephenson8423Will do! I reconnected with Josh from my last chat with him this past June. I’m also going to try the AUVA EQ footers under my LP12 deck, as well as under my MPD-6 DAC and CD transport. Will report back when they come to me.

      @@shanestephenson8423 So I plugged in an order for 8 CSA 1’s and 4 CSA 2’s on Friday. I had an interesting back ‘n forth conversation with Josh regarding the best selection of the AUVA EQ CSA’s. My initial thought was to buy 12 CSA 3’s to cover all possible isolation scenarios regardless of equipment weight. Josh suggested that the best selection of an AUVA EQ CSA type should be carefully tailored to be as close of a match to the target gear weight as possible, and that 4 CSA’s is always preferred to 3 CSA’s. It apparently has to do with the particles inside the particular CSA being fully activated for vibration dissapation.

      @dragocelander6671 Yes, Josh is a good man, and that is good advice. I have four under my turntable. And will eventually be putting four under all of my components.👍😁🍷

    GM ☕️..
    I’m a firm believer in mechanical isolation..an absolute necessity when you’ve squared away all other aspects of system performance…especially on mechanical ( TT ) and speakers ..as to drain off energy and add isolation…now is there a benefit to adding them to electronics ( power supplies for example)
    Great video!!
    Have a great weekend.

      No I say not with anything that has a transformer or motor, you want to drain the energy isolation will stop you doing that but you could use both, meaning, yes use isolation products but where the transformer lies drain the energy into a container of sand or something similar, especially important for turntable on its own isolation platform meaning cutting out the centre of the other isolation platform and draining the main bearing in the same way makes a big difference. this could be fixed to the bearing and by using Tungsten powder in it's own container like a thick 5 mm Plus cardboard tube. This will turn any reasonably priced turntable into a mega priced turntable costing 30,000 Plus, which is the most crucial upgrade you could ever do to any turntable.
      You need to make your own ultimate isolation platforms very simple you need to start off with one of those 2 inch thick chopping boards ideally size of the turntable or bigger. Mount a bamboo board to that, as it's opposing platform or platforms if you're using the center as I described earlier. Start making two box sections for each platform surfaces out of 1 in ideally acrylic or plywood so it looks similar like this [ ] , you make the vertical about 2 1/2" and the horizontal bars about 2 inches glued and screwed or nailed, about 2" long and multiply this by x8. On each horizontal bar drill a hole on the bottom a hole and on the top a hole and a slit to the hole on the top only 1 mm hole or slightly bigger, this is to place some 20 lb fishing line between the two. This gives you an platform above that is suspended under tension from the platform below by the fishing line, what has 360° movement platform. Attach the box sections to each platform making sure they're lined up interlock but not banging into the verticals, if you mark on each platform the same distance as these box sections you're going to fix and the top to slide your markings over half the distance of the horizontal of the box section, you shouldn't have a problem lining them up.

      That's annoying when you're writing a comment to reply and the damn thing disappears because you swiped accidentally I don't know how to lock the comment in without it disappearing I'm not going to repeat it sorry
      I want to leave this here as evidence if you don't mind, I've left the comment on mofi it's about a new type of head shell using the connecting wires but you can replace the head shell with the cartridge already attached you do not need connecting wires@@shanestephenson8423

      Did I not explain it well the first time, I will try to explain briefly if you imagine it as an L shape instead of a half box section, and the L-shape the bottom part horizontal part of it is sticking up! if these were connected to two boards looking at a mirror image to each other when you flip the other board upside down the L shape will interlock does that makes better sense? You imagine holding your hands together grabbing your fingers that's the same principle and if you had a piece of string in between that's how it would work. Because you've got a board on top of another board gravity is pushing it down and the fishing line is pulling it undertention stopping it making contact with the board below.

    Try using packs of jelly but ideally in the plastic bag not in a box type if you still get them over there, tell me which is better jelly or these feet, I'm gonna go with the jelly

    • @shanestephenson8423
      @shanestephenson8423  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I think it's a looks factor as well. Shoving bags of jelly underneath a high-end turntable might look a little weird, but if I can find jelly in a bag, I'll do the test and report back.😁👍🎧

    • @jedi-mic
      @jedi-mic 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You don't have the little oblong bags over there, they just come in the boxes, you could try the boxes but you're not getting the Wobbly effect and we all like a bit of wobble don't we lol you can use it without the packaging but I'm not gonna go into that now@@shanestephenson8423

      The AUVA EQs (and similar products) allow precise micro-adjustments to levelling.
      Good luck achieving (and maintaining) that with plastic bags filled with jelly.
