I'm glad you're telling his full story so others may learn about it. You know what's funny yesterday there was another Channel called Storied - doing his story also. I asked them why they were mispronouncing Tuatha Dé Danann & Lugh as a lot of people do

I'm trying my best to pronounce names and other terms correctly, but since Irish and English are both foreign languages to me, I don't garantuee for anything😅
Thankfully there are online dictionaries, which are great ressources to figure some pronounciations out. I think most non Irish people who talk about these myths don't really think about/ know that these names originate from a language completly different to English.
Names like Conchobar are honestly hard to figure out. I cheated a bit and asked my Irish teacher for this one😋
There are a lot of names and terms in the previous videos and the ones to come, that are really hard if you didn't grew up with them. But the fascinating legends are sooo worth learning them😊☘️🇮🇪
@@kianukasceltictales3403 I just came across this channel recently through another friend. I understand when I first saw your channel I read that you're from Germany and you live now in Ireland. I haven't heard you mispronounced anyting but at least you're putting in the effort because you're generally interested in the history and culture. There has been several channels that get some words right and others it's horrible like no attempt at all to say it correct. That's why I respectively asked that question to try and help them out but still no response from them though.
