  • Project Playboy is almost ready to hit the streets after receiving a full modern makeover. We challenged TMI Products to match our factory interior colors and they knocked it out of the park. The colors are amazing but the craftsmanship is the most impressive part. What are your thoughts? Was it worth it? Catch the past episodes of this build in the playlist.

    Thank you for actually listing how much you spent on the interior. Everybody is rebuilding these trucks and they always say "Budget build." But they never actually list their budget or say how much they are actually into the truck. Thank you for listing the interior cost. How much have you spent so far to make this truck so nice?

    • @steelergirl1026
      @steelergirl1026 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If only they'd answer your question? I know they paid a fuck ton for that ride tech coilover/ 4 link kit and the install!

    • @steelergirl1026
      @steelergirl1026 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'd say they most likely have $20,000 in it total including the $3000 they paid for the truck. What do you think?

      @@steelergirl1026 Easily North of 20k as everything starts to add up on these builds. And lets be honest, what everyone is hoping for is to be sponsored so your not paying anything out of pocket for some of these parts. But hey tell us that too. Let us know if anything was donated as sponsorship / marketing. Just so the average person can figure out how much a build like this is going to cost them.

      @@motortopiaondemand I’ve enjoyed watching the build. I like everything you guys have done to this truck. The floor shifter isn’t my favorite but over all I love the truck. I have a 90’ OBS that needs an interior and the way this interior turned out gives me the punch list of parts to purchase. The colors are perfect and compliment the blue very well!

      @@gtmotorsports937 Yea we have been questioning the floor shifter too lol. Thanks so much for the feedback. We were originally thinking about converting this truck to the silver interior but soooo glad we didn't lol.

    I’d say no, not remotely worth it. I gutted the interior in my 88 and put in sound proofing everywhere. Next I found a truck at the dump with bucket seats and middle console for 100$. I had them refinished in leather for 300$. A few repairs made here and there and I have heated leather seats, all new speakers, touch screen GPS and all for less then 2k. But do you I guess

  • @steelergirl1026

    These trucks around my neighborhood are a dime a dozen ,
    I have 4 of them
    And you put 5 grand in just the seats and carpet ,
    The only words that come to my mind are Fool and Loser !
