- In today's video I'm riding the all new 2024 Honda Africa Twin DCT to Frankfurt Germany and spending the night at the B-Mine hotel. This hotel features a very special car and motorcycle lift that will take you to your own room. Unless you are uncle Smokey and it takes you somewhere else lol.
Turns out the sensors are not yet updated for motorcycles but they will be working on this.

I feel like most of the people want to know what you would prefer over the R1250Rt/R1300Rt manual vs the manual Goldwing.

9:45 Don't know if it is true but when I lived in Germany there was a rumour that the hollow plastic roadside marker posts (your "white poles") were often destroyed by young drivers deliberately driving over them in some high jinks 'game', so the roads maintenance departments started filling every fifth one with concrete. Maybe an urban myth but it always ensured that I missed them!!!! 🚗💈💥😭
Yep we had similar stuff in Belgium! Buddy of mine always kick the flimsy white plastic poles on his motorcycle for the fun of it. At one point new models came out that didn't bend anymore when you kicked them....
I have never seen him do that again after haha.

That hotel is a modern interpretation of a motel.
I see at 2.20 that the bike pulls to the right like my Africa Twin if you take the hands of the handlebar. Did annoy me a lot.

Hey Smoke druk na de start op ENTER (linkerkant ) om die vervelende Honda waarschuwing weg te krijgen. Ik gebruikte eerst ook mijn vinger maar dan hou je een vetvlek over op je scherm. Peaceout!!

@@LifeofSmokey serieus , dat zei mijn bikista vriendin met haar NC 750 DCT ook. damned, ik ben toch nen broekschijter tegenover nieuwe dingen. Nu volledig fan van bvb handvatverwarming, ESA, ABS soms, en Tractiecontorle liever niet, voel nog graag eens den motor gripzoeken. uhm. Een stuurdemper was het meest high tech. wat ik kende en cruisecontrole met een vijsken :) redelijk spannend.
