Absolutely, but it's also not that simple.this isn't something that can be done by changing some animation timings and tweaking numbers (though that would absolutely help) They need to fundamentally rework their engine to accomodate for tighter and smoother movement overall, and make no mistake; That's only the first step. That's a fundamental change they need to make to facilitate for any other combat improvements. Will Zenimax spend the millions needed to have their dev-team sit down and revisit and untangle their very game engine? :)
They should just have a "free form" class at this point.....where u learn whichever ones u want by talking to the right NPC to unlock then like how the Guild skill lines work. Then they can tweak the damage accordingly based on how many skills you choose to spend points in plus your max stamina or magicka like the system already does.
Was basically playing characters in Skyrim with the same idea as Arcanist, throwing green things themed after my favourite daedric prince. Never expected it to be a real class tho, maybe I'll try ESO at this point
The story wherever you go is some of my favorite. It's all voice acted too. If you want to take your time or burn through it is up to you and how you intake lore and immerse yourself. The combat is fairly simply and easy to get a grasp of and the world feel overall is amazing and really makes you fall in love with the entirety of tamriel.
Really like the class, but kinda sad that we can't really expect any other daedric prince themed class for a while, the game is 9 years old and that's just the third new class

@@ryanblack3686 he got a point though, its not a minion master as we had hoped, and most of the roles of the necro dont feel necro at all. Has nothing to do with role diffuclty, its the theme of the class they got wrong.

I've wanted that for ages, best we've got so far is the sword and board line with the gloam bound weapon motif for the shield. Sometimes in combat the shield will disappear and it looks like your using a normal sword.
imagine if you could actually acquire the tomes of other characters to switch out skill lines? similar to ability capture in gw1, but with a whole line, like we're used to for vampirism... Beat the big arcanist boss? - Get a rare chance at getting their tome as a drop, enabling you to consume it to swap your active skill line.
Did Stephen used Nvidia Eye Contact AI thing? Because his eyes look unnaturally open. For the rest, cool video, cool class lets hope they keep supporting this amazing game.
Started the base game while taking a break from FFXIV till its major patch. Love the game, classes feel more customizable with different builds. What annoys me is the user interface, resource management and the absence of minimap for navigation.
They need to block champion points untill level 50.. game scaling needs to be fixed.. health magika and stamina should go up on each level to seperate low level builds to higher level builds

ESO's new class looks really cool, however the portal mechanic is literally taken from GW2's Mesmer class
