You guys are so cute together! Thank you for being so informative. I have stayed in the spa room before, and have purchased the spa pass. I prefer the room when I am not sailing solo. I believe the savings add up that way. I learned things from your video that I didn't know before: the pamper party and the eye serum for example.

I just got back from a Carnival Cruise and I stayed in Cloud 9 Spa Cabin with a balcony on the Panorama. In the bathroom, I found a bar of soap, shampoo/conditioner, and body wash in the shower. My cabin steward told me they no longer offer hand-sized samples of lotion. Like you (19:19 min), I felt the bed was uncomfortable. Every morning, I needed a massage just to function. I believe the bad was intentionally uncomfortable to encourage people to use the Spa services. The robe and slippers were okay. My cabin was very quiet and adjacent to the Lido deck. That was really nice. I had a great time. Thank you for the review.

I Absolutely LOVE those heated loungers!! 🥰🥰 They were truly my happy place. I literally think about them weekly. I even downloaded a playlist of the calming music that they play in there. I have been listening to it since my last cruise in March 2020. Ugghh, I miss sailing. ☹😔😟

Me and my husband been on 5 cruises with carnival but never stayed on balcony (we always did ocean view). After the pandemic we definitely staying balcony. This is great information we are now considering a spa room.
There is no way after covid i would not get a balcony just in case you are quarantined to your room at least you can go outside and get air

We have this coming up in Jan 2020. While on our last cruise my wife did the seaweed treatment and Ionithermie. I had a manager special massage and the Ionithermie. I also had the BCA test done for $102.35, ($89 + 15% gratuity). If you don't have the spa package wait until the last day to get better discounts. FYI: the sales pitches are real people. LOL!
This is what I am afraid of. Sales pitches. Does it feel as if you were on a timeshare sales pitch your entire stay ?

I have girls getaway cruise booked for February on the Horizon. 🤞 that it doesn’t get canceled. I can’t find any videos about the cloud 9 spa on the Horizon. I was wondering if the spa had showers? 4 girls will need to share one shower in our cabin! Yikes! It would be nice to have access to showers in the spa . I loved your video, it got me super excited for my cruise!

If you want to be away from the action to relax it's a good area of the boat
The bed is uncomfortable on purpose. It makes the massage and spa necessary LOL. We have that bed frame in our guess room. No overstays here baby.
LOL! You would think they would give you a little upgrade on the bed for a "spa" room. Only time we really used the bed was for sleep so can't complain too much :)

Doing the Carnival Panorama 3-day in December. They offered a Cloud 9 upgrade for $108 total for my wife and I. Seems like a good deal. Looking forward to trying the Aroma room, and the jacuzzi.
How busy does the spa get? I never go in the pools on cruise ships because I find the pools icky given all the people in them. So I'm hoping the Jacuzzi isn't too packed with people in the spa. Otherwise, guess I'll just enjoy the various thermal rooms.
Hello! The spa is usually busy during the day but slows down around 7 (dinner time). I have the same thing with pools. The thermal spa was very relaxing and nobody stays in for more than 15 min....the temperature is pretty high. You'll like the thermal rooms, the lemon room cleared my sinuses pretty quick. The Panorama is on our list of ships too..let us know how you liked it.

I can't seem to find prices since I didn't look until 3 days before I leave and it wasn't posted anymore. I really appreciated this video!
Thank you for watching! I believe the Manicure was about $49 and Pedicures were $69. We didn't do either of those, we did ours pre-cruise :) but I am pretty sure they have a combo package, hopefully those prices kind of give you an idea of what you would be paying.. Where are you cruising too?

If you are on the 14th floor I believe there is a stair case and elevator that will get to the spa area. thanks for watching!
Do you know if you buy the week-long spa pass if you get access to everything in there? It's only $160 for 8 days. I called carnival but the person confused me trying to explain it
Yes you have access to everything, but the Cloud 9 rooms have more discounts and longer spa hours. We will more than likely do the spa pass next time.
I was thinking about booking a spa 9 suite but Im afraid I will hear the noise from the gym.... weights banging. Do you know if this is the case? Thanks
I know this is 3yrs ago but I am about to book this same place for our anniversary. Does it feel as if you were in a timeshare sales pitch the entire time you are on the boat? The last thing I want is people trying to sell me something every waking hour of the day. TIA

I have not seen the interior stateroom. I prefer the balcony, you can sit outside and relax if you just want to relax and watch the ocean away from people.

@@kevlien It's really relaxing..make sure you do the body contoured heated chairs. I fell asleep each time I used them.

Its a giant jacuzzi on the Vista, other ships they have the pool.

How much was the Swedish massage when you booked?
We did the Bamboo Massage and it was 160 a person. We didn't do a Swedish massage :( We will more than likely stick to the basic Swedish next time! Swedish was 105, per person.
