- A Carnival Cruise Cloud 9 spa tour of the thermal suite on Carnival Breeze. This review will show you exactly what you get if you purchase the VIP exclusive thermal suite pass.
Even though all the spa and thermal suite packages may vary, they are the same in one way or another. For instance, the thalassotherapy pool on Carnival Breeze has it's own room. On Carnival Horizon, it is nothing more than a giant hot tub located in the tepidarium where the hot tubs are.

Prices are the same across the board, though. a daily pass to the spa will cost you $40, while a pass for an individual on a 4-day cruise is $79 or a 7-day cruise is $139.
If your stateroom partner wants a pass too, you could also save a few bucks and purchase a couple’s pass, which runs $220 for a 7-day cruise, so you’re saving about $30 each there.
If you book a cloud 9 spa stateroom, you already receive the exclusive access with your room and don’t need to purchase a pass. These rooms often run a little higher in price than the equivalents in their categories.

I have been on just two cruises as of now, and they were both on Panorama. I enjoyed the 7 day cruise where I went to the thermal spa often. But after seeing this video, I am so happy that I have chosen a cruise on the breeze for October 2024. I love that you made this video for our enjoyment. Keep making them so that I can have ideas of what ships have the many things i would consider joining.
Wow! 1st time Cruiser here and I was gifted with a cruise and booked this daily spa pass for me and my sister - your video is amazing as it looks better than I imagined! I would have to say book the pool. We were in it twice a day. Best place to be to relax and get away from all the people. Great for your feet and legs after walking all day.
i agree i love the thermal suite, i now only book ships that have this, looking forward to my cruise in 32 days to relax in this area of the ship, i love this. On my bucket list a carnival journey cruise. in the near future thanks for the video

I bet the spa area will be gorgeous on the Mardi Gras. I have a cruise credit that I need to book by the end of the year, so we decided to "upgrade" and book a suite. I've been debating on whether to book a spa or Havanah suite. I like the idea of a private pool in the Havanah area, but it's a lot more expensive than the spa. After seeing your video, I think a spa suite it is! My husband also likes to use the gym when cruising and those showers (he said, I wouldn't know ha ha) are really large too. Thanks for the video!

@@TheYeahMan55 it was great, it got sightly crowded (evenings) towards the later part of the cruise... The Spas locker room's showers were great too... I definitely would recommend if you're traveling with 3 or 4 in a cabin... And need to cut down on wait times before dinner, etc!

Carnival Breeze
We bought a pass on our Magic cruise last year. We loved it so much that we booked a spa balcony cabin on our upcoming Breeze cruise. We plan to spend a lot if time in the spa.

I booked a day pass on the breeze a few years ago and loved it. I have it booked for upcoming cruise on the magic.
The magic is my all time favorite ship. Their magic show is a must see!
With your day pass what all did you have access to? When I called carnival today they said you only have access to the hot tub and the pool but not the steam room or sauna or anything else. Unless I misunderstood

Are the spas amenities open 24 hr?
Never booked. Almost bought a day pass on last cruise and regret it. However, to celebrate retirement I’ll book a spa cabin if cruising on Carnival.
I haven't tried to spa on Carnival ships but I have tried the thermal suite on Norwegian Escape and Norwegian Getaway. My experience on those ships was fantastic and worth the money! I travelled on NCL Jade several months ago and decided not to use the spa there as it was very small and there was no comparison with the spas on the larger NCL ships.

My niece and I went to see the gym prior to sail away on the Magic and a staff member told us about the pass we could buy to use this area all week. Needless to say...we never used the gym because we were always in the thermal suite! I'm booked in a spa cabin on the Vista in January 2022.

We are booked on the panorama on a Oceanview Cloud 9 Spa room. We were just concerned about the motion since it is on Deck 14. Never been on the front side of the boat and that high, but we were looking for a more private experience for a 42nd anniversary.

thanks to a sale, i booked 11203 for feb 2021, room looks great, and, the cost was VERY close to the other accessability rooms that could hold 3 people, my 2 closest friends are coming, one wife is sending him so he can have a vacation with the boys, and, she can hold off another year or 2 on doing one with his family, and mine, and perhaps our other friends as well, anyway.....

Why would Carnival take one of their newest ships and put in a Upsized hot tub in their thermal spa like an afterthought , That’s very disappointing my first time experiencing this kind of environment was on a Holland America ship and I loved it. But it sounds like The panorama will be disappointing? Am I correct?

Yeah, every ship is different. The newer ships that came online started blending them with the thermal suites.
We just cruised on the Breeze in February, the spa was awful. The aroma room didn't work, the shower only had on button that worked, Thelosotherapy had one side with the side covers missing, etc. We end up demanding a refund of our money for the couple 7 day cruise. Our experience with NCL was wonderful, we were sorely disappointed with Carnival's spa area.
Thanks for the heads up, I cruise on the Breeze in a few weeks so I'll certainly avoid the spa.
I hope they get everything fixed before this coming October.
