@@FlixandComix Thank you! I actually was never into comics, he used to sign them for us when he got them, but I never knew he was a big deal in the comic world, until he passed and I was an adult. I was his only granddaughter and he would call me "facha brute" lovingly and jokingly. He was an amazingly humble and sweet man, we miss him dearly. It's so nice to know now that he was loved by more than just our family.
My parents bought me BnB #111 in late 73 when I was 5. I couldn't believe that Batman was protecting the Joker! That is one of the best stories and the art of Jim Aparo was outstanding. That comic scared me because the Joker was going all over Gotham murdering people. It was nothing like the Adam West reruns that came on every day. Aparos art is just as great and fresh now as it was then.
I had to watch this one mate, I love me some Aparo art, 100 to 200 of Brave and the Bold was one of my early targets when I came back to the hobby a while back. Thanks for the showcase of his work mate.

I love Jim Aparo! #1 on my all time Batman artist list. I feel Jim flew under the radar compared to others.
