I have a few awards magazines from to 60’s & 70’s & it’s fascinating to see these guys in their prime hamming it up for the camera...great stuff! Love the GoGo Check covers. Thanks for the facts, history lesson and the look at some of the art mate, I hope you dad stays well and his problem gets sorted, it's great that he is not letting his age slow him down. My dad is 81 now and I hope he'll keep on being full of life and energy for another 20 years at least!

these spotlights are a great series! the corgi 267 batmobile is actually how I came across your channel. It was recommended in another collectibles video and now I'm learning all about comics lol. Best of luck with your dad, hope all is well.

Thanks - he does NOT get anywhere near the attention and acclaim he deserves. He helped to kick-start The Silver Age with his visual reimaging of The Flash in 1956. I fell in love with his artwork as a kid with Adam Strange. He helped revive Batman in 1964 with the New Look under the editorial guidance of Julius Schwartz. Schwartz was also the editor of Justice League of America, which indirectly helped to inspire the creation of The Fantastic Four.[I had a lot of the Silver Age titles mentioned [I stopped buying comic books around the time of Spring 1969, when I moved up tp / over tp SF short stories]. I sure wish I had held on to them
