Me too. I missed him when he came to Cincinnati in 2021. I bought a ticket for the 2020 show and it was cancelled due to COVID. It was rescheduled for 2021 and I wrote the wrong date on my calendar! 😩😑 I was SO mad at myself!!! I might have to go to NY to see him now.
I remember hearing this song on the radio in HS back in the 70's and ALWAYS loving it. Such a classic. Just listen to the sold out show STILL loving it 50,000 years later 🤯. That should pretty much explain Billy Joel = LEGENDARY, right up there with Paul McCartney in my book 😎
This song reminds me of my mum! Not all of it but she does always cheer me up, inspire me and is always there when I'm down! She's also the one who used to play his cassette on loop in the car to and from school singing along all the way, getting me hooked on his music! Proper heart strings and memory in this song!
