Great tutorial. Been struggling for years with the typical high volume styles and was making the mistake of blow drying all of it back and having too much volume/showing too much forehead. With this, I can get volume just in the front of the hair.
I am able to do this style buy blow drying the front up and then just messing around with it. But it does look at lot cleaner with the way you do it. Nice work

I just started getting this hairstyle as of last week, and I have straight hair, all I do is wake up, wet hair, dry it with a TOWEL until damp, (you can fully dry WITH A TOWEL the back but leave the front damp) play with hair as drying, then wait until air dried and add the slightest bit of pomade (gel) and it holds all day!

What I recommend is to have your fringe go down to mid nose. Keep the fringe slightly longer than the top. Me personally I get a mid to low skin fade and have it blend to the top. When styling I keep my hair wet but not too wet. Then I blow dry starting from the top and blowing each side towards the middle. Once the top is dryer than the fringe that’s when I use my fingers to mess it around while drying it to give it texture. Apply cold air and finally use a STRONG HOLD NO SHINE clay. I like Blumaan Cavalier or Slikhaar Wax Zero. Hope this helps you people

For an easier way, put your hair flat down, and then curls the front with a circling iron in 3 pieces for ten seconds each. Then do the same in 3 rows back. After that, mess up your hair with your hands and spray when you get the look you want.

Does this work with a roundbrush and blow dryer
when i had my blue hair, it would naturally dry like this but then i shaved my head and after it’s grown back i’ve never naturally been able to achieve this look. So this helps soo much!
try air drying again it just has to do with muscle memory

These techniques are actually really helpful, I just don’t use any products on my hair since it’s really thick and that helps it keep the hairstyle but also lets air make it naturally messy which looks good tbh

Hiii !! I found a way that works actually well without hairdrier , juste wash ur hair on the back of the top and then with a com just take the top front of ur hair and bring it to the middle and stay liké this 2 min then do it again

There is an easy way and it looks not as good on some people but you can just take your hands and take the hair in the front and fold it back and force it down a few times.
Kinda hard to explain but it works.

i was able to get this haircut a different method. I basically towel dried my hair messy in the front and then used a matte hair gel to make my hair stay. after a while of doing this my hair just grows like it now

I think if he gave you the length it wouldnt work for you. It depends on your face messurement. For example if your nose is 4cm down your face and the puppets nose is down 3cm, than it wont fit your face.

i just just show them a picture or get it 2-3 tapered around the sides, and then tell them to leave it eye length in the front and to layer the top.
