rubber tip replacement on a hook of bilateral upper limb prostheses

In Japan upper limb amputees usually use rubber tips on the hooks for enhancing grip force. But replacement of the rubber tip is not easy for bilateral upper limb amputees. He showed how to replace the rubber tips by himself.

Wonder why you were not fitted with quick release wrist units. That's what we used to provide for bilateral upper limbs amputees, 40+ years ago.
It is easier to pronate/supinate the terminal device (hooks) and lock into position.

@@nickvalentine7346 because I've wanted to be an amputee since 1987 when I was 13 and almost killed in a very serious accident which left me with epilepsy and a broken femur which left my right leg about 3 to 5 inches shorter than my left leg and most of the time it's so hard for me to walk without getting tears in my eyes because it's so painful my parents should have insisted on having the doctors amputate my right leg instead of trying to save it so please don't judge me I don't need people's judgment

@@barrydavid6634 sure your leg is f'd up but that does not explain you wishing to lose an ARM, I get that being an amputee might be a more sustainable life for someone like you especially with how far prosthetics have advanced but WISHING to be an amputee is a whole new can of worms, I always wished I had a scar on my face because you know in the movies and in games you would have a badass hero or villain with one and now that I have one via an accident it really isn't anything special but wishing to lose a limb that is healthy? *Bru-* of course where gonna judge you cus wishing for that type of stuff ain't normal, so stop trying to use your story to justify something that does not make sense, your body does not need to be more fucked up as it already is.
PS: i don't wanna hear you talk against my logic here, if you amputate a healthy limb from choice then amputate yourself from the neck, we don't need people wasting there generosity holding the door, putting on your clothes and cooking for someone who's a cripple by someones own selfish desire then by accident.

You can go for rotationplasty amputation where you can keep the lower leg and just have the upper leg off.
