Fiddly job Ian, especially as you can't do it out of the frame. It's a real boon, being able to make your own tooling. It's probably the bulk of my lathes workload. Best wishes, Dean.
Triumph did actually get it right in 1970 when they made the front engine bracket detachable so you could get the engine in/out with the rocker boxes on. 1971 they went to OIF and returned to a welded front bracket!

Yes wish I had made some when I rebuilt the A50!
