If you have skill you do not need money. I have seen civics that can go 200mph from a dig that cost less than Lambos headlight
JB but they don't have A/c, don't have comfortable interiors, no power steering... These Lambos could be driven home if they wanted to.
Well any car can be driven home with the proper cooling system... And what is the big deal about have a nice interior and a/c in RACE cars. If you want to be the fastest, be the fastest. If you want to be the most luxurious, be the most luxurious. And the only thing that matters when you are at the drag strip is who can go the fastest. So at the end of the day nobody cares if your RACE car has a/c or a "interior".

1. start with a car that can do 200mph from the factory
2. add a ton of money.

Doug S Yea that car caught my attention too. In a class full of awd 2300+hp giants it did pretty good doing 190 mph. Would have been a closer race had that green lambo (ross fowler) not slingshot the fuck out of him like usual.
Luq Man I wasn’t expecting a lot out of it to be honest cause the other cars stole the show but that Camaro kept right up!’y buddy had an Lt1 in high school. A 93. It was heavy but she screwed and the patches this car would put down! Haha. Beautiful car.

One thing I've noticed from watching this channel is that they love their huracans, supras, and gtrs.
What's the idea behind this drag racing format? Rolling start? Are they supposed to speed up to a certain speed when they reach the actual drag strip start and only then can fully open the taps? I haven't yet seen such format, only sprints from standstill, starting next to the lights.
They look and sound so sexy. And I still can barely afford exhaust and a few other cosmetic mods to my car.
I don't know about you but in a car made out of lightweight materials like that going over 220 I would want seriously beasty roll cage
GixxerDad 600 their frame was designed to withstand a crash at that speed. A roll cage would be more paperweight at that point.
The cars are built in 3 pieces. The cockpit is a carbon monocoque tub. It's been certified to handle crashes and rollovers at 200mph.

I wonder how Sal Pattel's Viper would fair at an event like this. His car can do 218 @ 6.96 in the Standing 1/4 mile and 237 in the 1/2. Given that the drag strip is prepped I wonder if he'd be able to beat his 1/2 mile speed.

The crazy thing is all these 2500+hp lambos looks almost like a stock lambo with a light modification, yet they still go fast as fuck, and even faster than the highly modified gtr's (i'm talking about looks here, not engine)
