Star-Delta Starter Complete Wiring for 3 Phase Motor / Star-Delta Control Connection / Explained

In this video, I have explained how to completely wire 3 phase motor with the star-delta starter. And also I will explain this starter connection step by step using a circuit diagram.
A star-delta starter is a type of reduced voltage starting method. This starter is used to reduce the starting current of the motor without using any external device or apparatus. This is the biggest advantage of the star-delta starter.

Wiring at Motor terminal found wrong.... Delta for motor wiring is R - U1 & W2, Y- V1 &U2, B- W1&V2.

It’s not wrong, just different. All the phases on the U2, V2 and W2 are in different connections to that which you said but the motor will still rotate in the same direction when the switchover takes place.

There are 2 type of connection. 1-method as your, 2-method is R-U1&V2, V-V1&W2, B- W1&U2.

Should the n.o. connections on the overload relays be connected in parallel rather than in series as they are in this wiring diagram? Then either overload relay activating will illuminate the lamp.

The trip will not light up as the supply for control circuit is coming after MCB, if the trip happen at overload, then the 3 pole MCB will cut off the supply then there will be no supply to the control circuit to light up the trip indicator. The supply of control circuit need to tap before 3 pole MCB..

Who. You r using. Two... over load relays.... one relay. Is enough...
The. Over load relay shouldbe connected.... after. Main braker switch... current setting. Is. Line current.....

Please recheck Trip indicator and Stop indicator light.Trip indicator only get power when 1st Over load Relay Trip but second over load Relay if trip then no power .It will be both NO loop.

This wiring diagram is wrong.!!
A) You only normally need 1 thermal overload placed in series with the main contactor and
B) The thermal relays here are wired wrong. Both would need to operate simultaneously to operate the trip indicator. If the right hand one operates the light would not illuminate as the thermal under the main contactor would still be in the normally closed terminal pair state.

I think is wrong, the red wire on U2 on the motor should have the red from the delta contactor to w2 on the motor.
As if it was a strap in the delta configuration.
The other phases are wrong as well.

No need to confuse. Same winding terminal should be connected with alternative phases for example the terminal ends of U1 & U2 should be connected R & Y or R & B or B & Y the remaining connection would be like this it's make delta connection 💯 % .
