I really like your scrap storage arrangement! And that ethereal music - the perfect sounds for potato related wood turning. And if course I watched to the end! The skew is definitely the tool for that job; my congratulations for managing to keep the spud on the lathe at any speed! Cheers mate, that was fun.
The storage works but I have to organize it every so often.. And I too was surprised the potato stayed in place. Maybe it was just waiting to be eaten!
