Im glad you find my content binge worthy. I do the same things on other channels and I've always wanted that so thank you for saying it. Im really excited to bring you much more.
It’s great that you connected with this game as an adult, but as a kid who played these game back in 2003, I felt like the only person in the world who still liked Pokémon. Most kids I knew thought Pokemon was lame, and I and didn’t understand why since Ruby and Sapphire were amazing games. So even if you’re late, I’m glad you got to experience them.
I just picked up a legit copy of sapphire with a gameboy advanced sp ags 101 and it’s like I’m back in heaven back in my childhood it almost brings me to tears I’m enjoying this journey with you friends!!!
Pokemon Sapphire is my favorite game in the series. I started with generation one like most of us who grew up in the 90's, but as much as I loved Kanto and Johto, it was Hoenn that spoke to me the most. Your journey through this region really feels like an adventure. Dark caves, tall grass, craggy mountains, searing desert sands, rainy tropical forests and an ocean full of secrets. What a wonderful place Hoenn is!
29:14 I HAD A E-READER, I was the only person I knew who had one. I loved it, I played some Machop mini game. I remember having some special pokémon cards that could be used with it
Ruby was the only reason I bought the e-Reader. Brand new copies came with an advertisement for the device and a Card which added a trainer you could fight in a house in Mossdeep City but with Battle Tower rules. It was basically DLC minus dowloading off the internet. The e-Reader was so cool that in 2004 I traded it in to get the Nintendo DS. Yeah, even I knew the e-Reader was lame.
@@Livvvid I did have some TCG e-Reader cards. I bought a deck themed around Team Magma. All the dot codes did was show a pokedex entry. Although I think there were boosters that had mini-games if you had all the cards. And you're welcome!
Hahaha yeah I was literally reading your comment on the other video when this one was rendering and im like "dude doesn't even know what's about to drop" lol. Thank you for watching my content. I appreciate you. Anything else you'd like me to cover?
You rule Roland. Thank you for saying that. I really do put in a lot of work and im still learning to try and improve. But comments like yours make it worth it and I'm not just saying that.
Great timing as I'm currently playing Emerald Legacy right now I got Ruby & Sapphire with my purple GBA I remember being blown away by the improved graphics and gameplay loved the soundtrack in here I just enjoyed everything about Hoenn.
@Livvvid I'm really enjoying your pokemon videos and from the ending seconds sounds like Diamond and Pearl is next these are really well done gen 1 is my favorite but I got love for the first 4 gens the newer ones are OK but I haven't touched them since beating them and I replayed 1-3 over and over again all these years they have something special to them and now it's even more fun to play these with fan made improvements on my Anbernic devices classic pokemon is the best.
Once again, you made a great video. My only disagreement is that I do feel that there is too much water in these games. As a kid, I remember getting a little lost and frustrated with how much water there was in these games. Nevertheless, you made a great video.
Yea the drop off was massive in my area after gen 1. Then gen 3 nobody at all was playin and even I didn't know about em until i got sapphire and a blue sp for my bday.
I still have my copy of Sapphire and my brothers have the other two, I remember we used to play all day and I would steal my brother’s Pokémon to complete my Pokédex, my mom was so fed up with us fighting over those Pokémon lmao, from what I know some of those Pokémon still exist in my brother’s copy of Emerald, he still has my first Blaziken and Jirachi that he stole from me
That pokemon generation was the best for my time.. (each to their own).. loved the lore and the pokemon character design despite some criticism from critics..
Just saw 5 of you videos im excited to see this one. Also I’m excited to play the minish cap. Bought the game in the summer but haven’t gotten around to it. I saw your video today and put it in my queue. For after a link between worlds
I just wish we were living in the time where Nintendo puts all Pokemon games on a virtual console already. I think having all the games available would allow anyone pick up the game they best remember. I think gold was my first game I really got into. I remember sapphire most fondly, I met my childhood friends because of it. I used to play late into the night under my bed with my gameboy sp.
I saved up the money to buy Ruby. When I got home from school, nobody was home, and I was so anxious to get the game I walked to Walmart and even went as far as to play it on the way back. The walk took me four hours and I did not mind one bit!😅 Last Pokémon game I bought until X and Y.
Never played Gen 3, going to play it for the first time this year. What's the best way to experience it for the first time? R/S, Emerald or Alpha/Omega?
Gen 3 is special, as while it’s not technically the first set of games, it is the first set of the golden age of Pokémon. This is the era in which Pokémon found and codified its identity. All the games from Gen 3 to at least Gen 5 (and I’d say Gen 6) are distinctly classic, peak Pokémon in a way that none of the others are.
pokemon never decline, coz pokemon ecoins n nfts is on the rise aka the poke cards!! i play all cards game except pokemon, coz they come too late in my regio!!!
Dood my mom took my little brother and I to Toys R Us one random weekend and the fucking Pikachu VW Bettle was there, we got the e-reader cards and my friend at school let me use it so that we could redeem it shouts out mom!
I remember my mom took me to the toy store the day ruby came out and by coincidence I got it on release day. I was actually hoping to get crystal but was happy I didn't. I was the coolest kid in school.
Literally just binged your Pokémon vids from gen 1-crystal and saw this was just posted as I’m watching the last video! Perfect timing
Haha same shit here!
Im glad you find my content binge worthy. I do the same things on other channels and I've always wanted that so thank you for saying it.
Im really excited to bring you much more.

I didn't even realize this video came out 4 hours before I started watching, and I absolutely love these games. What great timing.

Yea the drop off was massive in my area after gen 1. Then gen 3 nobody at all was playin and even I didn't know about em until i got sapphire and a blue sp for my bday.
Yup. I said i saw people playing it back then but it definitely wasn't like it was in my neighborhood for gen 1 and 2.
I still have my copy of Sapphire and my brothers have the other two, I remember we used to play all day and I would steal my brother’s Pokémon to complete my Pokédex, my mom was so fed up with us fighting over those Pokémon lmao, from what I know some of those Pokémon still exist in my brother’s copy of Emerald, he still has my first Blaziken and Jirachi that he stole from me
I love the familial civil war lol.
Thank you for watching and commenting. I appreciate you.
Another day another video to watch while I eat food
Thank you Quinn! Excited to bring you much more content man.
That pokemon generation was the best for my time.. (each to their own).. loved the lore and the pokemon character design despite some criticism from critics..
Lmao at the sneaky diamond and pearl intro notes at the end... Gen 3 was only the beginning of the Masuda golden age!
Just saw 5 of you videos im excited to see this one. Also I’m excited to play the minish cap. Bought the game in the summer but haven’t gotten around to it. I saw your video today and put it in my queue. For after a link between worlds
Thanks a lot danny. I'm glad you like my content. I can't wait to bring you much more.
Great video, I really enjoyed it. One small correction, in Ruby its Latios, and in Sapphire its Latias 28:47
Ruby was my jam. My wife played Sapphire. But as a major fan, i gotta say, Emerald is where it was at!
Doot doot!!
Gen 3 is my favorite gen the algorithm did right recommending me this
Great video~

Another 10/10 video
Thanks a lot Quinn I'm glad you liked it.
Never played Gen 3, going to play it for the first time this year. What's the best way to experience it for the first time? R/S, Emerald or Alpha/Omega?
definitely play the original first!
Hope you enjoy your first journey through Hoenn❤
The originals are strong enough even today, so Ide say any of the first 3!
Thank you for watching and commenting, Jamie. I appreciate you.
First 4 gen are so classic

If you choose to play as a girl the rival will be Brendon and he is a surprisingly different character than May
they have roselia
emerald doesn't
they good
why does emerald have roselia?
pokemon never decline, coz pokemon ecoins n nfts is on the rise aka the poke cards!! i play all cards game except pokemon, coz they come too late in my regio!!!

Gen 2 does also show the moves power accuracy and effects
I remember my mom took me to the toy store the day ruby came out and by coincidence I got it on release day. I was actually hoping to get crystal but was happy I didn't. I was the coolest kid in school.
