The reason I did it is because it allows me to put MORE of my own touch to the car. It's different than any other car at my local track. My friend has a $250 Team Associated Reflex 14b and I just got a $120 Wltoys 144010 and bone stock it will destroy his modded reflex around my track. Purchased about $60 worth of upgrades and I still paid way less than he did. It will also smoke his 1:10 Bandit lol. He is shocked how good it is.
Ok so first of all, I know I have said this before but... What a facility you have there to play.. Just awesome!! Now this buggy? A great buggy for some fun out around the door. To start off with and play with. But I agree it is defintely pretty "klunky" to compete with the other buggy's. But a decent platform for a little fun. Thanks for sharing Troy. :)

I’m curious what you’re filming with (FPV) and how you’ve rigged it. My GoPro hero 9 black seems like overkill and the mounts are dead after one crash. Lmk. Thanks!! I love my 144001!
I would like you to know what small micro camera you’re using? I have Mobius cameras and they vibrate. RunCam Pro Thumb is better but you have to process it. The on-board camera views are excellent.
@@RoadsideRC I know about the bulkhead after waiting for a pack of dog bones and then installing super glueing screws into the bulkhead. Now wait 24 hours then complete the repair. I also was bashing with a brushless goo motor . It rips but I am spending more time repairing, then driving.
I am seriously considering grabbing one of these for the little carpet track I put together in the basement. I don't need anything terribly fast, just generally reliable as it won't go very quick but it does have a few jumps. Sad thing, the bigger names in the hobby don't really make mini 4wd cars anymore, so going on the budget side is the only chance you really have for 1/14th-1/18th scale rigs. I already have two Losi Mini-Bs and they are fantastic but a smaller car would open up some possibilities for a tighter track given my space constraints. I think the brushless version (140010 I think?) would do great! Thanks for putting together this video! Love seeing it run on all the different surfaces.

As a former RC10T owner I can say that the cheap bashers/vintage RC's are a lot more fun. That predictability, precise steering, and plush suspension equates to boring daily driving. I'll take an overpowered POS any day 😄

Wltoys 1/12 it goes amazing in racetrack. With some setups and reemplace oil in shocks, can go really good. Don't expect competitive car, but for have fun in racetrack it's great
I want a tour of this track, it looks like a playground. I see arcade games and looks like another area for kids to play and stuff like a big place for a family outing
You should look at the LC Racing EMB1 that the WLTOYS copied to make the 144001. That is a proper indoor track race engineered machine that is made with better materials and much lighter brushless setup
I have one wltoys 144001 and i think this wltoys 144001 is rather not balance cuz she have a big great motor while she is a little body and stock tires so bad in my opinion i adjusted by changed brushless motor 2845 2600KV new tires high speed servo i tested on the track in my area.result fun and good.
in my local rc track ive seen them before , i have a 12 scale 124007 and with proper quality upgrades yes this can race all day long now wining is in another subject lol but this are good for bashing around ill say the best ones for that out there. but racing not so much and i have one but even with U.S.A quality parts you will end up wasting the same amount of money for a race redy carbon fiber body rc that comes with a race redy brushless motor so why not go for the better one at the same amount of money 💰
