i met a woman back in Sept (2016) we live 500 miles apart . I didn't think it was much but she contacted me after the event we attended in September. some people hate phones because there is no other stimuli to go off of. Some people need external environments and vibes not just a robotic voice with nothing else going on. (Disagree that it’s an ego thing but rather a basic nurturing thing in women I guess) but seeing a potential love interest posting pictures with other girls makes me feel like he’ll cheat on me. The end. It’s a fuck up if you post regularly with other girls to intimidate a girl you’re actually interested in. The reason it’s a bad idea: cheaters and manwhores are too difficult to ‘fix’. And as women we’re told that cheaters never change and thus, no need to pursue the guy that will inevitably break your heart. However, if you post that you’re at a party and there happens to be girls near you, it can serve as a reminder that the guy may not always be available and if you want him he’s not gonna wait forever. Basically, no pictures of just you and a girl. Only group pictures with girls that also include guys. Sorry for the wall of text.
i met a woman back in Sept (2016) we live 500 miles apart . I didn't think it was much but she contacted me after the event we attended in September. She contacted me thru email and wanted to stay in touch. Then she came to my town to attend a weekend seminar (Dec2) and wanted to get together. It was a nice 2 day meeting. We started a sort of phone connection thru the holidays. I really like her. I know she likes me. The phone calls are now at least 3 times a week. She was and is going through a divorce. Is there a possible real connection here or does she just need a shoulder to cry on during this difficult time. Our calls are long ,around 3 hrs. She is a professional woman of 53 and I am 58. some people hate phones because there is no other stimuli to go off of. Some people need external environments and vibes not just a robotic voice with nothing else going on. Me personally i fucking loath talking on the phone. Even with my own family. it's got nothing to do with my level of interest in anyone. I just hate it. Texting removes all pressure and allows people to respond the best they can when they can. Phone is instant. But in person is the best because while it to is instant and in the moment like a phone there is external things to go off of. Body language, things happening in the background to start a new conversation about. Things to look at and see, just dealing with a voice and nothing but a voice can be daunting for some people.
