Cliffside Park on Demand: Chief For A Day
On June 13, 2024 Cliffside Park School #3 student, Genesis Fuentes was “Chief For A Day”.
“Chief For A Day” is a County-wide program sponsored by the Bergen County Sheriff’s Department; our female juvenile today is Genesis; she goes to School #3 in Cliffside Park; a tremendous kid who has every day challenges that she has to overcome”, shared Detective Lieutenant Michael Miller from the Cliffside Park Police Department.
Genesis visited the Cliffside Park Police Department; Cliffside Park Fire and EMS Departments and she met Mayor Thomas Calabrese in the Borough Council Chambers. Mayor Calabrese shared with Genesis how very proud he is of her too.
Genesis’s father, Jose Fuentes thanked everyone for this special day and for making his daughter very happy.
Det. Lt. Miller presented Genesis with a “Chief For A Day” plague on behalf of Cliffside Park Police Chief Marc Marano and the Cliffside Park Police Department.
Chief Marano also thanked Genesis for being a such big help as “Chief For A Day” thanking her for all that she did too.
Genesis, was also joined by her family; her teacher, Mrs. Kristen Filippone; Nurse Eleni Michaels; as well as Mrs. Donna Calabrese, Director of Curriculum and Instruction for the Cliffside Park School District.
