From the Topo map it looks like you were filming from about 129 ft above sea level. The bottom of the hill is around 100 ft and the road crossing is back at 125 ft. So the downhill is only 30 feet over half a mile. That "kink" is going from 1 percent down to 1 percent up!
It’s s a deep grade going up and down it been there since SCL and Atlantic Coast line area and I saw as kid SCL and Seaboard System rolling through that grade
I found this spot! Jamestown Rd near Brogdon. That road where the truck crosses at 2:36 is more than a mile away. Now the grade doesn't seem so steep. The zoom makes for awsome shots.
