I'll tell you why these restaurants aren't shut down. REVENUE! Easy money each month. They should be closed but greed prevails over our health and safety.. You know I'm right.
As much as I agree that things like roaches and rat droppings are problems, showing a buffet with some kind of meat not at 130 degrees is not surprising. The food on the line being served being under temp is expected, 130 degrees means the food is actively being cooked and some meats will become uneatable (in terms of texture and taste) if held at that temp for a period of time. The better thing to do is to cycle the food every hour, even though its in the danger zone, the risk is next to very still up to the 2 hour marker.
Buffets are supposed to hold hot foods at a set temperature (140°F OR HIGHER, like shellfish has to be held at 145°, chicken is held at 165°), and the employees are supposed to remove it after a certain amount of time, even if no one has eaten any of it.
@@rebeccahetrick6576 I'm pretty sure they have to be cooked to their temperature (140/145/165) but then after that held at 140 regardless of the type of food
Last time I ate there I complained about chicken that didn’t seem to be prepared properly and got the runaround from the manager. Won’t be eating there again.
I hardly eat out once in a blue moon, but if the place even looks somewhat dirty I'm out of there fast. Especially if I can't identify what meat or vegetables they're serving I'm not eating them period. We have to look out for ourselves!
Exactly, that's why I don't eat anything I don't recognize. And that goes for meat, veggies, desserts, etc. I have to know what it is exactly or I'm not having it lol.
These guys check twice a year no wonder why they keep violating makes me not wanna eat out you should be checking every month for the protection of the public

Some cultures have a if it gives you the scoots it will make you stronger so if you eat here again you won't get the scoots as badly as the 1st time. America not respecting other cultures wanting American's to have a strong cast iron stomach as other culture's. Remember if you want it done right do it yourself and if you want other culture's food find a place that does everything the right way or learn to cook your fav other culture meal.🤔
I can't stop watching Dirty Dining. Help....

That’s bs imagine having one violation and you get closed down while others with 30+ violations and they stay open
When Oriental restaurant owners collide with North American sanitary standards ... Wham.

I think helth inspectors should be required to wear body cams- like police officers- and those cams should be public
Totally agree

It is my fervent hope that you are not working in the food industry. This is very dangerous advice you are dispensing.

Cook at home you won't have to worry about or get sick.
