- This is a review of the Razer Leviathan V2 Pro, an upgraded version of Razer's soundbar setup that includes AI-powered beamforming technology. This is a chunky but awesome soundbar that's designed to sit neatly under a 27-inch monitor and deliver room filling sound or virtual surround sound.
I tried the Razer Leviathan V2 before (see • Razer Leviathan V2 rev... ) and thought that was great but this is something else. If you like the bass in my voice then you'll find this speaker really punishing but in a wonderful way.
Highlights of the Razer Leviathan V2 Pro for me:
Punchy bass and easy controls
Clever beamforming technology
Superbly excellent source switching
Small size means it'll fit nicely under your monitor
Lowlights:
RGB is underwhelming.
The beamforming is powered by Audioscenic technology, which tracks where you're sitting and dynamically adjusts the sound. ideal if you're slouching, or sitting off center from the speaker. It also has several sound modes including stereo, THX headphone, THX speaker and room filling mode.
The Razer Leviathan V2 Pro offers surprisingly good positional surround sound audio considering that it's a soundbar and not a full speaker setup. It also has Bluetooth connectivity and a 3.5mm jack headset.
I like simple things about this - like when you turn the speaker off it will automatically switch back to your other favourite headset or sound device.

Great review. Im still on the fence about buying one bc I love my SteelSeries headset. A headset allows me to play at night if my wife and I dont go to bed at the same time.. but Im still tempted to buy this soundbar for when I play in the evenings after work or on the weekends when Im alone bc Im a huge sucker when it comes to punchy bass. Also, forget what other ppl say about how you talk bc my wife and I personally love it! You are one of my go to channels when it comes to tech reviews bc you always sound so chill and relaxed

So is the effects worth it? Because you can get atmos etc subwoofers out there and I’m wondering if it’s a gimmick

Did you experience any latency issues or lag when using the headset mode?
None. Headset mode is very precise as well. I prefer virtual speaker mode as it is punchier than headset.
How do you think it compares to the SoundBlaster Katana V2?

I purchased a LG 3.1.2 Dolby Atmos sound bar and was very impressed. Definitley cheaper than Razr.
I made it to the end. Legend as always. My question is if a tree falls in a forest and nobody hears it does it make a sound?
If a person falls in the woods and there's no one else there to see it, would the trees care

can you use it as an eye tracker in games for example i play dcs and was thinking getting a headtracker to use for controls but if it has one then there's no point

Do you think you'll use it as your daily sound source? I'm wondering whether to get it or not. Also, have you tried using microphome with it, or would that be impossible with all the sound going into it?
