A question to anyone who's in the know: if I connect this set to a regular sound card that comes with a MB, will the sound be good enough for a typical PC user (music, gaming)?
I'm thinking of Ditching my Presonus Eris 3.5" to the Katana V2 need to downsize as my bedroom is tiny and having a large 10" subwoofter under my table taking away my leg room
Well a proper 2.1 setup is the ideal. But this is especially usefull if you are using multiple monitors as either you have to leave a space either side of your main monitor for the speaker and the the side monitors are too far out, or the speakers end up being way to far out. If you like to curve the montitors around you, then placing the speakers to the side of these means that they take up lots of desk space, so a simple soundbar underneath the main monitor solves these issues.
always appreciate the quality of your videos... the camera focus, use of sliders and taking the extra effort for color/graphics... definitely inspiring and helps encourage me when making my videos. Keep up it man!
i appreciate your videos as always. I went for the JBL Quantum Duo though. I have a Panasonic soundbar for my home theatre which comes with a wireless subwoover, which is a big plus (for 1/3 of the price compared to the Katana) - but it's not gaming nor rgb.
Hopefully you can help me. I’m Looking to buy this for my ps5 I do have my setup on a desk so I’m at the space as that is like yours. I won’t be using it for movies or music just to play my game. I do have my Audeze Maxwell but sometimes I just don’t want to have that in my head. My question to you is how is it holding up I’m reading a lot on this product some people say it didn’t hold up but I can’t say what did they use it for and how loud was they cranking it. Have you had any issues so far with this product ??
Thanks for the review! Quesiton about the connectivity, I have both a laptop and a PS5 connected to the same monitor (Via DP and HDMI). How to set up the Katana for it to work for both the laptop and PS5? Do I just keep everything plugged into the montior and connect the soundbar to the monitor?
I have been the proud owner of the original Katana and haven't looked back. Based on that experience... I am at the brink to pull te trigger and "upgrade"... Ugh! The conflict is strong in me.
How would this go at replacing my old surround sound system? I'm looking at a soundbar alternative for my old LG BDV-N9200W I like this sound system but i find it to big for my small room.

Can the soundbar be connected to the sub using BT and can both be connected to the computer via BT so that there is no need to use any cables except for a power cables?
Me, in an appartment building so terribly made you can literally hear your neighbours pee if it isn't too noisy outside: hmmm yes I definitely want to check things like a good soundbar with subwoofer. Surely I can use something like this in my room.
@@smiks23 No you need HDMI E-ARC on monitor or use a converter that cost as much as the beam then plug it in to HDMI on GPU, otherwise you will not have access to Dolby Atmos and not sure if the surround sound will work as well. Because of this you cant use beam on PC imo without a monitor with e-arc.
I just found this device and it sounds wonderful. Recently I've been unable to wear headsets because they aggravate the top of my head. Right now I'm using earbuds, but I'm not sure I'll be able to use them long term either. So a soundbar such as this one (the V2) could be my final solution. If it's wireless then that's a big bonus; cords can be messy.

For only PC use, did you connect via optical or USB?
Whenever he is using the sound bar it says usb so I would assume that’s what he uses
You can recover that footage with recovery tools especially after a reformat as long as you don't put any other data on that drive after the fact.
