  • If you are struggling with addiction or other problems related to dopamine, there are a number of supplements that can help to boost dopamine levels and improve your mood and focus. Some of these supplements include ashwagandha, rhodiola, and panax ginseng. These supplements can help to increase dopamine levels in the brain, which can help to reduce cravings and improve impulse control.

One thing that’s currently helping me shift and anchor into a higher level of the nervous system is the work of Deb Dana. @dimaknopf, I had a similar experience with almost everything on your list. When I finally discovered that I had both SNPs for the MTHFR genes, I found what worked for me. Taking methylated folate and methyl B12 helped and along with changing my diet to include more red meat, eggs and dairy. PLEASE do you research on this before you change your routine. If you are still taking SSRIs then you absolutely need to discuss with a doctor.
      Bottom line, for my SNPs my body had great difficulty making seratonin and dopamine because I was using the wrong (for me) form of B vitamins. Methylated B vitamins skipped the poorly functioning portion of the process and allowed my body to make amounts that I needed. MTHFR SNPs are very common in people with European heritage. I hope this helps. As I said, please do you own research because starting too quickly can be extremely difficult as your neurotransmitters get out of balance.

So when I did have some liver issues last year, I immediately went back to taking this supplement. I couldn't understand why I was dropping weight so quickly and that my appetite had decreased. I've watched a few of your interviews but haven't heard you talk about lead poisoning. I recently did a brief chelation treatment and had an overwhelming change in my body's function and I suspect my brain will follow over time. I have collected enough information to construct a theory on why people who were exposed decades ago may continue to have acute symptoms despite having free lead blood counts well within "legal" limits. If you aren't accounting for the influence of lead in health you are potentially missing a major issue, given the percentages of people who tested as having unsafe levels of lead in them over the course of the last century and the ubiquity of residual lead pollution in the environment.

Because he puts the Label of Automatic Negative Thoughts - they will tend to come and behave more Automatic than if he didn't label them as Automatic. Thoughts tend to Behave the way We Label them and Labelling them as Ants will just give them a more automatic and repetitive nature. Ants is not a good label. A Better label is just negative thoughts.

    Do the supplements help boost dopamine in those of us with Parkinson's?

    • @Nomad83_
      @Nomad83_ 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It can, but possibly not to any appreciable degree. But still may be worth experimenting with. Mucuna purines is a natural source of l-dopa and is speculated to promote the health of dopaminergic neurons. The loss of these neurons is the cause of Parkinson’s symptoms. It’s speculated that oxidative stress and even high glucose/insulin resistance play a key role in the loss of the neurons. Diet can therefore make a big difference in symptoms and slowing or even stopping the disease from causing further damage. Supplements that upregulate brain growth factors may also help - one that immediately comes to mind is Palmitoylethanolamide. Red light therapy and Urolithin A may also prove useful. You may have to do lots of your own research but hopefully that helps.

Also I doubt your peers are all treated by him personally. He seem to be much better at giving information to treat deficiencies that make mental illness symptoms worse and then adding in a medication if nessary to provide the highest functionality for the person possible. Many doctors don't do that and will just medicate someone into oblivion.

      Porn is just another thing to be addicted too. It can mess up your life just as easily as drugs can. Pornography desensitizes men in a lot of ways. It sets them up for failure in normal romantic relationships because most men who are addicted are always comparing the porn to their relationships and the women you are dating or married too will eventually lose every single time unless you give the pornography completely up.
