When I was a kid I still remember. During summer, My mom would pluck few green mangoes peel out the skin and shred it and then she would mix it with green chilli and salt and serve it on banana leaves, it was our comfort food back then. Man, those were the days!!

In my childhood there was a mango tree in my neighbors house which grew over the building, we used to take chilli powder, salt mix it and pack it in a newspaper, a knife and climb to the roof through pipes of the building and once over the roof we used to pluck mangoes, cut them put the chilli powder and salt mixture, and enjoy, the mangoes tasted soo good as it was stolen, and the thrill added to the taste.

Think is literally my childhood. We used to go to the mango orchards when raw mangoes almost came to full size. And we would have little box of salt+chilli power mix in out pockets. We would pluck the mangoes from the tree, sometimes we would climb the tree and get our desired mangoes and crash it right there and savour this sour+salty+chilli taste. I miss my childhood which i left back in my village.😢
