Mumbai is the Capital of a Western Indian State called Maharashtra. The local language spoken here is Marathi and the culture of this state is called Maharashtrian Culture. Maharashtrian Culture has its own Maharashtrian Food Culture which is very unique and popular by itself and has exciting sub - Maharashtrian food cultures like Malvani Food ( coastal cuisine from Malvan), Varhadi Food from Vidarbha region of Maharashtra ( East Maharashtra), Kolhapuri spicy non veg food from Kolhapur ( South Maharashtra) , Puneri Brahmin food from Pune ( Central Maharashtra) ( vegetarian and less spicy food ) had on pious and festive occasions, Mumbai city ( West Maharashtra) culture food like Batata Wada, Vada Pav, Panipuri , Sev Batata puri, Pav Bhaji, Masala Dosa, Idli Sambar etc, Maharashtrian, Punjabi , South Indian, Gujarati restaurant foods etc. But what we have seen is most food bloggers miss all the above by and large and end up on Muhammad Ali road food because it is very close to their hotels which normally they choose from South Mumbai instead of Central Mumbai or North Mumbai. In the process they eat food which is not the "authentic" culture and home food of 95% people or Maharashtra but a limited food choice of a small percentage of population. Nothing wrong with it, but almost 95% food bloggers who come all the way from USA, Canada, Europe, Australia, Japan, Korea etc miss the real "authentic" Maharashtrian food ( both vegetarian and non vegetarian) by limiting their good tour to South Mumbai or the two beaches of Girgaum Chowpatty and Juhu Chowpatty. My request to all three of you is visit Central Mumbai ( Dadar and Shivaji Park) and if possible Thane ( North of Mumbai ) and visit authentic Maharashtrian restaurants like Prakash and Aswaad at Shivaji Park ( Central Mumbai), Panshikar ( at both Dadar ( Central Mumbai ) and Girgaum ( South Mumbai). You can ask your local guides to take you to local Maharashtrian restaurants and Malvani ( which is dialect of Marathi) SeaFood joints in Mumbai and Thane. There is more to Maharashtrian Food than Mumbai Street Food ( which also is Maharashtrian Food by the way). You can also visit the street food of Girgaum Chowpatty(Beach) (South Mumbai) or Juhu Chowpatty (Beach) (North Mumbai), Maharashtrian and Gujarati food of South Mumbai and Vile Parle ( North Mumbai). There is a restaurant in Thane (just north of Mumbai) called Metkut which offers authentic vegetarian Maharashtrian food for all the major regions of Maharashtra , Malvani cuisine, Kolhapuri cuisine, Vidharbha cuisine, Marathwada cuisine, Puneri cuisine so on and so forth. The best place to have Pav bhaaji is at Sardar Paav Bhaji - which is located at Tardeo, Bombay central, in Mumbai. They have 2 varieties, the Normal Amul Butter Pav Bhaaji and the second one I think is the Black Pav bhaaji. Just check out the pavs(bread) they serve there. They are completely different and Real Authentic pavs. Those pavs are aunthentic Portugese pavs that the Portugese introduced in Goa & Mumbai. They are much softer, less dense, much more fluffy and go extremely well with Amul Butter. Also, the bhaaji is a typical Maharashtrian vegetable slurry preparation with typical Maharashtrian Garam Masala spices.
india is such a vast and diverse country. After travelling every 150 km u will find different language, different cusine and different people. But all of them have will have one common factor in them and its ❤

The best place to have Pav bhaaji is at Sardar Paav Bhaji - which is located at Tardeo, Bombay central, in Mumbai.
They have 2 varieties, the Normal Amul Butter Pav Bhaaji and the second one I think is the Black Pav bhaaji.
Just check out the pavs(bread) they serve there. They are completely different and Real Authentic pavs. Those pavs are aunthentic Portugese pavs that the Portugese introduced in Goa & Mumbai. They are much softer, less dense, much more fluffy and go extremely well with Amul Butter.
Also, the bhaaji is a typical Maharashtrian vegetable slurry preparation with typical Maharashtrian Garam Masala spices.

First I thought the same that he took overpriced but then I realized she also buy paneer jalebi with samosa... So 45rs is ok... But fir bhi mujhe bhi lagta hai 40rs was ok for jalebi + samosa
