Hi. I'm also using iOS18 Public Beta on my main iPhone 14 and battery life is decent. It's not draining that much and it's lasting almost a day. Many bugs are present but thats expected.

This one has bugs in camera, connectivity, apps crushing, heating issues, the animations are glitchy sometimes, notification center is glitchy so much. You can instal it if you want to try out the new customizations, but you'd have to deal with the bugs .

Apple should consider of adding pro-motion display in all there devices, they can do it and also if they are worried about the cost of devices they can lower it down slightly so people can be happy about their choices. It is not that hard.

On the iPhone sales , these days are not like the old days where you where always looking to get the newer model with the better chipset to see improvement in performance, if we look at a speed test between my 12 pro max and 14 pro max and 15 pro max , the old 12 pro max still works very well and in day to day life in the general features we use daily, it’s only a split second behind the 14 pro max which itself is only a split second behind the 15 pro max . In short , people no longer NEED to upgrade to a newer model because their old phones still work very well for general duties. In my case I look forward to IOS 18 for the extra customisation and updates, I’ll be honest I’m not convinced the AI thing will make that much difference to daily usage , although I certainly look forward to Siri being a bit more useful. My 14 pro max still has 91% battery and still works fine, I’m tempted to skip 16.
So many people will be dissapointed. After they bought the new 16 series in the EU when they realise that apple intelligence is not going to work on their new devices cuz apple doesn't bring it to the EU yet, Will that affect the sales numbers?
I think it does effect sales. No Siri 2.0, no Apple intelligence. IOS has some nice features but not worth an upgrade to iPhone 16 (have 18 PB running on my 15 pro). Those features will run fine on older devices.

But apple has invested some into new features so they need to get back the money from the customers through new gadgets and i think that’s kinda greedy
I downloaded iOS 18 and it was a big mistake. as it was in the video, it has big mistakes. I personally cannot use screen time, the use of emoji and the huge overheating of the mobile phone. I was thinking of going back to iOS 17 but I'm afraid I'll lose something or delete something
I‘m currently on iOS 17.6 Public Beta (21G5075a) on my 14 Pro Max and the animations are terrible. It is very buggy and annoying. I hope they soon fix that
13 pro max been using iOS 17.6 beta 4 since last week.Performance isn’t the best lots of lags from time to time but the battery absolutely phenomenal, finally can go through the day without charging. Kind of reminds me iOS 15 in terms of battery.

Usually I don't have much to say with regards to sales expectations but, in this case, with iPhone 15, I had two opportunities to "sell" the iPhone 15 to acquaintances. Both ended up buying the 14 because of their collection of older Lightning cables. Maybe a reasonable adapter (USB-C to Lightning/female) could drive up sales as opposed to selling AI. In my circle, not everyone cares much for AI as they do for backwards-compatibility .
Is it possible that older iPhones that run iOS 18 could get Siri 2.0 sense it’s not apple intelligence or will it also be limited to the iPhone 15 pro models

@@zollotech yes. I would definitely agree. Another bug I’ve ran into is when I restart my phone, the control center widgets that I’ve added just disappear until I add them back.
I’m super stoked about all the new continuity stuff but what sucks is I can’t use them for work since the company I work for owns my Apple ID as part of the company so it’s like my iPhone and Mac can’t link at all 😅🙈 it’s so trash!

The Apple redevelopment plan for new affordable housing is what they should be doing long term to create that unique Apple ecosystem smart home they desire, but at least the government subsidies whomever buys or rents on of these home Apple should offer capping the rent or discounted devices. Just to throw in few apples in there.
I have been facing network issues since updating my iPhone 13 to 17.5. I have also tried resetting network settings but nothing seems to be working. I have also installed beta 17.6 but network issues are still there.
Unfortunately,highly unlikely for iPhones for the near future From years back,people started with small phones and each passing year,we were getting bigger and bigger screens on our phones as a sense of feeling that we Upgrade and get a slightly new Experience And you can see that almost everyone outside carries a big phone,so that pretty much sums up the majority preference 😐
I've been an iPhone person since I can remember, and have always upgraded every year to the latest Pro Max model, but this year I'm so bored with these updates. iOS 18 isn't groundbreaking (and the AI stuff is also on Samsung's and Google's flagships) and the 16 Pro's only rumoured change is the a new capture button... might be time to try the new Google Pixel coming this year...

I can downgrade my iphone but I cannot pair my ios 17 with a watch on watch os 11. Its requesting an ios 18 iphone. Any option on this? It depends. In my usecase I have almost no problems. Internet is sometimes a bit slow and the batteryusage could be a bit better but apart from these two things everything is running fine up until today. (15 pro)
So Apple has known for a long time now they were adopting AI soon and integrating it into their devices. Apple also touts how amazing their chips are and just how good their ram is considering how much they make people pay for it… Apple is always full of shit they can implement a lot of new features into the older phones. Especially the iPhone 13 Pro, 14 pro phones. Money will forever be their first priority. People will continue to give Apple all of their rent money to have the latest and but not greatest

Had my first issue with iOS 18 Public beta 1 on my 13. WhatsApp crashed on me and I even had to restart my phone for it to work.
I just wanna be able to have Siri send a discord DM. Is that so much to ask. 😅

17.6 Beta 4 was horrible for me, the UI was jumpy and plain horrid so I went back to Beta 3 for now.

Those chips are strong enough, but the problem is the ram rize in these devices.

Why do we hear very little about the development Apple is working on for those with disabilities?
There’s quite a few accessibility options that I’ve mentioned in different videos. I’ll probably make a separate video covering all of them though.
