Marion, you utterly amaze me. I am a retired designer, lifelong stitcher, knitter, painter, etc. but feel like a neanderthal beside you. Never have I known anyone so unpretentiously talented in all things creative. Please excuse my palavering, but I mean every word and hope to greedily enjoy your tutorials on anything to which you turn your hand. Nurture that cold, we need you.
Thanks so much Ann for your wonderful compliment. I don't know what to say other than I've always done all these things. It's just since Michael passed away it's been how I managed to keep going. Sewing was all I found I could concentrate on. Starting a TH-cam channel is the last thing I would have expected myself to do! But here I am...💐
i agree wholeheartedly. I am not on social media etc, so I also admire Marion’s ability to produce, single handedly, such efficient videos. These lessons are exactly right for me, an elderly late arrival to the world of crafting!
What incredibly beautiful creations! You are equally talented in so many mediums: painting, stitching, dress making, quilting, crocheting, knitting, making models, gardening, cooking, designing anything...what have I missed? I think you should be knighted. You are a national treasure. What a fortunate day for us when you decided to go on TH-cam. Thank you so much. p.s. Those daisies are perfect.
You’re absolutely correct about Our Marion but you forgot wood work such as dolls furniture and whittling timber ❤🇦🇺🦘Maybe something else also Margaret
Oh my word, I'm floored, Marion. Your phenology wheel is spectacular and the sleeves for your shrug are so creative and beautiful. Love the crazy quilting stitches.
I appreciate your doing this delightful posting even though you did seem to still be unwell. The daisies are lovely, and the sleeves are lovely, but the daily painting project is awe inspiring! Everyone talks about how talented you are--and indeed you are--but your production rate is so prodigious that I'm beginning to wonder if you are getting any sleep! As always, thank you.
Thank you, Marion! You're a wonderful teacher. Also, I love your nature book. I wonder how you have time, but I guess one always has time for what one loves😊 I look forward to updates. I hope you're feeling better. take care.
Marion hello Your flowers are Amazing! I need to add flowers to my huswif and I will be watching this video over and over to follow along with your amazing stitches. Your boards are so wonderful and a lot of beautiful work Your truly a Wonderful person and a wonderful crafter of soooo many things. Have a great day and take care. God Bless❤
Again Marion, everything you did today was delightful. The phrenology wheel looks absolutely beautiful, I love all the twigs in February it reminded me of country walks when I was a girl! Thank you🥰
Thank you for being part of getting me back into stitching after a looooong break of 30+ years 😱. I embroidered a lot in my teens and early 20s and I'm 52 now! I find your videos very inspiring ✨️ thank you for making them.
Marion Thank You so very much for all of your wonderful inspirational videos. You have inspired me to try new things with my slow stitching projects. Your videos are full of ideas and I willingly try them all in my Snippet Quilt roll. I really enjoy watching you and am in awe of your tremendous artistic talent, thank you for sharing your skills with your many stitching fans. Sending you best wishes from Torquay.
Wow, I just love your crochet sleeve and the wheels are just beautiful - as always your videos never disappoint, thank you! I trust you will soon be fully recovered. x
I love EVERYTHING you do !!! You have so much knowledge & experience in so many things ! Love your wheel, thanks for showing all you have so far. Your flower sleeves are just beautiful, whatever they become! This crazy quilt piece is just beautiful…all the stitches combined are so, so lovely!!! I so look forward to your videos each time. Hoping you get to feeling well soon, I hate hearing that you aren’t feeling your best. Hugs Marion !!!!!🤗🤗🤗
The daisies and forget-me-nots are so very pretty Marion and as always you explain them so very well. You are so very talented with your stitching, crochet, painting, etc. A lady of so many wonderful creations. xx
Flabbergasted I love that you have so many projects on the go, and so talented your imagination has no bounds which gives me hope. As I also like to keep a lot of different things going at the same time. Thank you for your videos ❤
I wish I lived closer Marion, I’d pop around with some chicken soup😘 I do hope you feel much better soon. Take great care of yourself you are a treasure🇦🇺🌻🦋💕
Hello Marion. Yet again, you bring us a stitched delight, which is so lovely. The daisies are really beautiful - and so lifelike. And I particularly enjoyed the forget-me-nots. (One of my favourites.) Such tiny flowers, but exquisitely sewn. Thank you. I hope you have a great week and, as always, will look forward to your next video.
Awesome! Your daisies are “posh”, good word! I’d love to spend some time inside your brain, you have such good ideas and design sense. The crochet sleeves are lovely, can’t wait to see what you do with them. Happy April!
Very pretty daisy picture. Thanks for the tip for getting the shape right. I find your tips helpful. As always your clever mix of materials and finishing touches with the paint give your pictures a lovely natural look. Can’t believe all the other things you have been creating in the back ground too. Such a busy creative lady. I think you’ve got a secret twin. 🤔😄😂 thank you for taking the time to show us your lovely work. Hope you start to feel better soon.
Thanks so much Marion for another lovely stitching video. I find them very relaxing to watch and I am enjoying learning new stitches. The little daisy meadow was delightful🌼. Heading away next week, will be taking my crazy patchwork stitching with me, thanks again for all you share, hope your feeling better soon.🌼🧵💖
I hope you soon feel better Marion. Do you sleep as your head must constantly buzz with ideas?!😅 We'd all miss what you do and the time you give to sharing with us the beauty of your skills. Thank you. I love the crocheted sleeves and look forward to the finished item.
Marion, just for interests sake, THIS is the video you tube were reccommending to me as your live today was finishing up. I usually watch the beginning to see what materials I need, then the end to see what you've made, then come back later for the entire time to stitch and learn and do alongside with you. Often i save to 'watch later' so I can come back easily. I really enjoy the block of time I set aside to spend with you in my week, often the loveliest part if my day. Thank you xx
Just "found" your channel. Amazing work. I sew, knit and crochet so the fusion quilt and crochet set my brain alight. Love watching you stitch too. Thanks Marion for your creative input 😊
❤ TFS, beautiful phrenology wheel. I've never heard of it. Thank you for teaching me so many things. I've learned so much from watching you. It's a wonderful education about the things that interest me. Invaluable!
My goodness!! Marion you are a very talented lady. I love spending time with you r dry week. You do so much that I like to do and that I am interested in. There is no one I know that shares my same interests with me. I hope you feel better soon and can’t wait for your next video😊
Marion, I continue to be amazed at the various projects you create! I so enjoy every minute you share. I am also a retired designer and agree with annrubin. You are the most talented and lovely person who makes magic with everything you do. So happy you lets us in and teach us how to join in. Thank you so very much!
I just realised you’re left handed. Now I know why watching you sew looks so easy to me because I’m left handed too. So used to seeing right handed people sew! Interesting how you started on the right for the grass. I’ve always started on the left and have struggled. Thank you for your videos Marion. I really like your round book and your painting, I hope you will show us as you go.
When I first saw myself sewing on video I thought I looked awkward. Then realised it was because you just don't see lefties sewing.... Lines of things, like the grass, which have lots of individual stitches, are easier to put together right to left because it's our natural hand action. In the same way that you're probably able to easily write backwards as it's our natural style.
Hello Marion..... Your creativity is truly infectious and has encouraged me into happy stitching with you. I hope your cold is better and you have had a rest.....sending warm weather wishes from around the globe....🌸🌼🌸
Hi.marion.i hope you get well soon and enjoy getting out in your beautiful garden..they can be wonderful healing places..i must admit i check in regularly to see what you up next..as your creativity is inspiring and captivating..thank you for all that you do and be well.
Thank you so much. I'm about over the cold now. It's been raining here pretty constantly for the past week or so. As soon as it's dry I'll be out there clearing up something 👍🌿
Marion I love your work. I am sitting here crying whilst listening to you. Your voice reminds me so much of my Nan who grew up in Durham and lived in Richmond Yorkshire when she married. I feel like I am sitting sewing with my Nan listening to her kind gentle encouragement. Thank you.
Everything is wonderful! Everything you do is wonderful and inspiring. I think the blanket stitch flower garden is pretty cool. That idea is now stored away in the stitchery lobe of my brain. Thanks, Marion. I really enjoyed your video. 🌼🌼🌼
Marion, Love your stitching as always, but the phenology wheel book is so 👌. Gets you outside, observing and listening to your surroundings. I wondered at first, if you had drawn and painted the pictures and of course you did...my goodness the talent. Thanks for sharing. I think the phenology wheel book would be a perfect activity for educators to use. ❤
As far as I am aware they started off as a way of encouraging children to look at nature and record seasonal changes. Not necessarily as a daily practice though... More of a month by month thing.
As I've said before Marian you are so talented and the best out there and I love watching your videos and I always learn so very much I hope I can remember it all I should write it down but I will write this lesson down so that I can watch it again thank you thank you from my heart God bless you
❤❤❤Thank's for this lovely tutorial. I love daisies and especially forgetmenots! What a great idea with the sleeves😊👍Take care, dear Marion! Have you qaught a cold? Try to get some rest. It doesn't matter if there is a little delay with the next video! There is not rush for some of us, I'm sure! We love you and want your best ❤ Warm greetings from Ingela in snowy Sweden 🤗
Hope you're feeling much better now, dear Marion :) Thank you for sharing your beautiful daisies &forget-me-nots, and well done for keeping up with your wheels - such dedication is inspirational! And such wonderful results :D Take care lovely lady, rest when you can xXx hugs, Suze
You are simply amazing, so in touch with the natural world & so kind in sharing your skills & knowledge with us. I am very grateful! Sending healing vibes to you! ❤🌿🦋🐞🪻🌾🪺
I so enjoy watching you. I find that you encourage me to do things rather than endlessly collecting ideas! I was in a shop this morning and looked at a stitching magazine but really I learn so much more from you, so a kofi subscription is much better value for money! I hope it helps you keep going with these lovely videos. ❤
Sounds good to me! There's a definite difference in collecting projects and actually doing projects ..... Not sure I have the balance of that either.... The project ideas come more quickly than I can make them!
Thank you Marion for your video and company today. I love our wild flowers and your daisies and the grass are so pretty. Ribbon stitches in polyester brilliant. So much more affordable. I love the way you always make stitches less pretentious. It can be wobbly,go on any direction. I always tell myself there are no stitch police. That wool for the crochet sleeves is a beautiful colour and a shrug sounds amazing and just right for an evening in Paris ? Well, you must think ahead 😂 sorry you have had the lergy, these colds are laying everyone a bit low. Pamper yourself, it was the tiredness that came with it that surprised me. Like to see more of your wheel , see you on Sunday providing you feel up to it lovely.
Thank you Marian but where do I start with my thanks!!! So many lovey things you showed us tonight. The ribbon daisies, I must have a go at that. Then the leaves and forget-me-knots. For some reason I struggle with French knots. Then we got to see the crochet sleeve which I really liked. Whatever you decide on using for a back it's going to turn into a special garment. Last but by no means least was the ....olagy wheels! So much work involved. I am wondering if you ever sleep! Ha Ha 😆😅😆 ❤
Hi, Marion. Just wanted to tell you that this was an especially wonderful video. All the things you showed us were inspiring and amazing and kept me spellbound. Thanks so much for sharing all your wonderful talents. I really like and appreciate your make do attitude.
I love the little daisy scene and the forget me nots, so simple but effective. Those crocheted sleeves are so pretty, I'd love to see them on a garment of some sort. As for your phenology wheel .... marvellous! I don't know where you find the time or energy to do all these things, but as your obviously not feeling up to par and I hope you're going to be taking it easy, a little self love goes a long way.
I can't think of anything to add that hasn't been said. You are an incredible talent. But better than that your videos bring me comfort and inspiration. I'm in my 70's and unable to be as ' productive' as I was. You remind me that there is a meditative joy in quietly sitting and stitching and that spark of joy creating brings. I hope you are able to take time to rest and feel better. Maybe a hit toddy or a pot of chicken soup would do you good. Thanks and have a great day! 🏹
You exactly said it... There is a quiet joy in just creating..in whatever medium you use. Stitching, knitting, painting and more too numerous to mention. .. 💐
I love your tutorials on everything! You are extremely talented and creative. I stitching, mainly cross stitch and some embroidery. I don’t like sewing, I’m terrible at it! But the round book is going to be awesome! My daughter would love that! I’m going to show her your video. I just found your channel and watching as many as I can! Got lots of ideas. Take care.
I continue to love your talent and your warm encouragement. Also your voice and expressions. Bonny! So long since I heard that! Rush of nostalgia here.
❤ another GREAT video of your talents!!!! I haven’t ever stitched with ribbon & now I feel like I had a lesson from you to go & try it on my own. Thank You!!!❤😊
Hi Marion, I always enjoy your videos. I particularly enjoy seeing how you do things. The daisies are amazing amongst the grass you stitched on. Love your creativity. Thanks from Eileen in Scotland
Hello Marion I have only just recently found your channel and I’m addicted. Mainly because your love for all things crafts just comes through so strongly. You fill me with a zest for crafting that no one else ever does. I love your excitement when things work out in the end or simply are partly made and are more successful than you think they are going to be. It’s that buzz that keeps us all creating. I’m from the Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire and I’m a postie and I have a beautiful rural round I adore. My crafts very often reflect nature and the things I see when I’m out and about. Or at least they used to. But thanks to you those things are creeping back. Keep these fabulous videos coming. They area pure tonic for the soul❤
Thanks so much for this message Rachel. It was lovely to read. The Forest of Dean is a beautiful area and I'm so pleased you are feeling re-inspired in your crafting. I'm honoured to play a little part in that. Thank you 💐🌿🌸
Hello Marion!.. I started watching you a couple wks ago x have watched quite a few now and I absolutely love your vidios. I was taught by my Nana and my Mum when I was 5 gyrs old but then I stopped when I was about 30 but I'm 63 now x am so enjoying getting back into embroidery x I am doing a crazy quilt wall hanging at the moment and I've done embroidered journal covers x some book wraps for bibles aswell. I used to make christening gowns with hand embroidery aswell when I was younger. But I'm having to relearn a lot now wìch is hard as I have memory problems because of parkinsonism but i started embroidering again about 3mths ago and I really love the way you explain things and talk us through it all. You are a brilliant teacher!.. so I wanted to thank you for helping me. I do watch 2 other ladies aswell but you are my absolute favourite because of how easy you make things seem and that's because of how you do it just slowly talking us through x explaining things in an easy x fun way x watching your vidios is quite relaxing I find too so I can sit and relearn x to learn things my Nana x Mum didn't teach me either. You just make it all so easy x fun and because of how you do it I'm learning so much more now so thanku so much x please keep doing what you do. Thanku Linda...
Thank you so much Linda. I'm sorry you're having trouble with Parkinson's, but it's lovely that you're able to stitch and enjoy re learning things. I hope it's helps with your concentration and I'm sure it will be a relaxing thing to do. There are lots of lovely stitchy people on TH-cam... plenty for everyone to find just what they like to watch. Thanks a lot for saying I explain things well. I really appreciate that.. Happy stitching to you..🪡🧵☺️💐
😊 love those Daisy's 🌸 and the flower crochet sleeves look quite exciting 😍I hope you feel better soon, I was thinking you have a cold, or hay-fever 🤧 take care Marion 🥰🌞🌾🤗🍄
I don't have crewel wool but i 'untwist' sockwool ( which i have loads of) and it works well enough. A few weeks ago i saw a video of a lady dying white pearl cotton with inktense and making her own variegated thread. Seems interesting! Thank you so much for the series.
Well said & totally agree with all you say about this lovely super-talented treasure 😊
I agree well said. Her talent is amazing!
i agree wholeheartedly. I am not on social media etc, so I also admire Marion’s ability to produce, single handedly, such efficient videos. These lessons are exactly right for me, an elderly late arrival to the world of crafting!
A SWEET SPIRIT. ❤

Oh my word, I'm floored, Marion. Your phenology wheel is spectacular and the sleeves for your shrug are so creative and beautiful. Love the crazy quilting stitches.
Marion, it’s always a treat to sit down with a cup of tea and learn new stitches and be inspired. Thank you ❤
Hope you get well very soon Marion. Thank you for taking the time to do another lovely video, and to show us the daily practice wheels. ❤
I have to admit that occasionally I stay up all night.. if I'm in the flow of something 😱
Thank you, Marion! You're a wonderful teacher. Also, I love your nature book. I wonder how you have time, but I guess one always has time for what one loves😊 I look forward to updates. I hope you're feeling better. take care.

Sounds good to me! There's a definite difference in collecting projects and actually doing projects ..... Not sure I have the balance of that either.... The project ideas come more quickly than I can make them!
@@marionsworld24 ain’t that the truth!
Always a delight to watch❤ 🇦🇺 Australia
Thank you Marion the crazy quilting is so lovely and your sleeves are beatiful thank you for your inspiration. i just love it🥰
Thank you Marion for your video and company today.
Thanks so much Carol. No stitch police here 👍
Thank you Marian but where do I start with my thanks!!! Ha Ha 😆😅😆 ❤
😅
What a very talented and inspirational woman you are. Thank you💕
This just gets more beautiful as you go. It makes me want to do lots of embroidery. Happy stitching and knitting.
Thanks! Marion, thanks again for another great tutorial! You make me so happy! I do hope you get over your cold…take time for yourself too!❤
Thank you so much 💐💐💐
Hi, Marion. Just wanted to tell you that this was an especially wonderful video. All the things you showed us were inspiring and amazing and kept me spellbound. Thanks so much for sharing all your wonderful talents. I really like and appreciate your make do attitude.
You are such a talented woman Marion. I love watching your videos. Thank you so much ❤ x
Another adorable little creation, never worked with ribbon, you make it look so easy, thank you for sharing. Hope you feel better too x
I just love your Stitch Journal and all the other fantastic projects you have going. Thanks for sharing with us. Hope you're all well soon!
Love your crocheted sleeves and phenology wheels. So beautiful. ❤
Wow! I love this so much! I would love to see the dandelions on your fireplace❤
When it's time to do it I'll show you how..
Thank you so much. I’m going to work on the ribbon stitch tomorrow morning. Happy I found you.❤
I love the little daisy scene and the forget me nots, so simple but effective.
💐💐💐
All as I can say Marion is what a wonderful, talented, interesting lady you are and I feel so privileged to be able to watch your channel x
Thank you for the lovely compliment 💐
I love learning new stitches with you, and the botany lessons are a welcome bonus😊
Take care.
Welcome Elizabeth. Thank you so much for watching...
Inspiration personified! Bless you. 💖
I continue to love your talent and your warm encouragement. Also your voice and expressions. Bonny! So long since I heard that! Rush of nostalgia here.
☺️💐
Thank you, Marion, for sharing all your wonderful crafts.
Thanks so much Linda 💐
❤ another GREAT video of your talents!!!! I haven’t ever stitched with ribbon & now I feel like I had a lesson from you to go & try it on my own. Thank You!!!❤😊
Brilliant Marsha..
The stitching is beautiful. I love the daisy piece.
Thank you, Marion, this is lovely❤️
You and your talent never fail to amaze us all. This episode is simply delightful.
Nobody caresses French knots like you, Marion! 😂❤
😂
Eager to see all of the 'little things' you discover in April!!
🤞🤞🤞
Hi Marion, I always enjoy your videos. I particularly enjoy seeing how you do things. The daisies are amazing amongst the grass you stitched on. Love your creativity. Thanks from Eileen in Scotland
I'm glad you liked it Eileen.☺️
You're always a joy to watch, thanks for sharing
Thank you 💐🌿🌸
Your flower wheel…..wow! I think you might be the new Edith Holden! 💖🍀

Thank you 💐
Amazing Marion! Thank you for sharing your beautiful work!❤
I don't have crewel wool but i 'untwist' sockwool ( which i have loads of) and it works well enough.
A few weeks ago i saw a video of a lady dying white pearl cotton with inktense and making her own variegated thread. Seems interesting!
Thank you so much for the series.
Yes the Inktense blocks are very good for experimenting with. I'm a big fan of using them to paint in anything that needs it..🖌️
