Everybody be praising Totti for just playing for one team his whole career, but man, he is so much more than that. Check his statistics, check his skills, he is undoubtedly one of the best players of all time.
Sono juventino, ma non riesco a capire l'odio nei confronti di Totti. Capisco, gli sfotto ecc. ma ciò non toglie che sia un grande giocatore, uno dei più forti di tutti i tempi e non solo, che l'estero ci ha invidiato e ci invidia. Non sono due o tre episodi a cancellare comunque un bravo ragazzo, anche fuori dal campo. E poi, molti fanno gli Ultra, si lamentano del calcio mercenario ecc. Sotto questo punto di vista Totti va ammirato, perchè ha deciso di rimanere con la sua squadra, di cui era tifoso, della sua città, diventandone bandiera e rinunciando possibilmente a giocare in grandi squadre come il Real Madrid che lo avrebbero consacrato a leggenda con titoli e soldi. Io stimo Totti, calcisticamente ed umanamente. E' un gigante del calcio. Le immagini parlano chiaro, e la sua carriera. Nel calcio non contano solo soldi e titoli. Il mio modestissimo parere.

Mi aggiunse poi che in Primavera, nella Roma, nel suo stesso ruolo (n° 10), giocava un autentico FENOMENO ed aggiunse: "Che ci fa questo in Primavera, dovrebbe stare in PRIMA SQUADRA!". Era, credo, il 1992, più o meno febbraio o marzo ... Totti aveva 15 anni.

A livello caratteriale è sempre stato un umile ed un timido (anche se per il talento spregiudicato non sembrerebbe) e soffriva a livello tattico di non essere il faro, come era nella Roma, dove era il Re eletto dalla squadra e dal popolo. Anche per questo non credo avrebbe fatto faville se fosse andato al Real Madrid. E' una questione caratteriale, non certo di talento.

No, that's obviously Luiz Nasario. The underwear model isn't even close. He's just on a very good team and good at a few things. The actual Ronaldo was great at everything, and probably a top five player of all time. The male stripper is like top 50 if he's lucky.

Since AS Roma won the last scudetto, they had fallen further down because of limited talents in the squad and massive debt to pay. But i'm so glad now that Totti has better players to play with and he really deserves to play in champions league, hopefully next season. Chiunque abbia giocato a calcio e in particolare chiunque abbia iniziato a farlo da bambino in una scuola calcio ha ricevuto sicuramente un insegnamento dal suo allenatore: "puoi essere bravo quanto vuoi ma devi giocare la palla di prima" e non occorre certo che io stia qui a spiegarne i motivi.... La giocata di prima non viene apprezzata dai più quanto un dribbling con doppio passo o con l'elastico ma è cento volte più efficace e per chi sa di calcio è pura poesia. Totti rendeva semplice ciò che per molti non lo era e spiazzava le difese avversarie che venivano puntualmente sorprese da questi suoi colpi di genio. Vedo che c'è ancora chi ironizza ma c'è poco da ironizzare. Totti non è stato solo il più grande marcatore di serie A dopo Silvio Piola (il più grande in assoluto se si contano i goal fatti con una sola squadra) ma è stato anche uno dei più grandi uomo-squadra di tutti i tempi come dimostra magistralmente questo video. E allora trovatemelo voi un giocatore altrettanto universale da abbinare senso del gol e visione di gioco...... non lo troverete..... potrete trovare i 700 goal di Pelè e i 400 di Di Stefano ma non troverete mai un video con Pelè o Di Stefano che fanno lanci di 50-60 metri. Oppure potrete trovare i lanci di 50-60 metri di Platini ma se andrete a contare i goal che ha fatto in serie A "le Roi" si ferma a 68... Stessa cosa dicasi per Maradona, anche lui con giocate straordinarie e con un'immensa visione di gioco, ma che a gol fatti, in serie A, si ferma a 81.....! Totti di gol ne ha fatti 260 (circa) ma ne ha fatti fare pure più di quanti ne ha segnati lui.... e spesso circondato da giocatori non all'altezza del suo talento e della sua bravura.......quantità di gol da goleador, visione e lanci da regista e fantasia e giocate da rifinitore..... tutto in un unico giocatore... tutto questo lo rende, se non il giocatore più forte, sicuramente il giocatore più completo di tutti i tempi.

Questo lo mettevi trequartista e ti smarcava davanti al portiere di prima minimo due o tre volte a partita, lo mettevi prima punta e ti inzebrava 300 goal, e pure belli, lo mettevi seconda punta con uno come Batistuta e ti faceva vincere lo scudetto. Lanci millimetrici in ogni zona del campo, triangolazioni, colpi di tacco, mille falli a partita guadagnati. Il suo calcio è l'essenza del trequartista, senza lo spunto alla Baggio o Del Piero ma con un senso del gioco unico.

Ricordatevi sempre che i palloni e gli scarpini cambiano come le regole, facilitando tutto. L'unica cosa in cui è stato del tutto un fuoriclasse è la visione di gioco. Sembrava avere il radar che gli diceva della posizione di ogni avversario e compagno. Sembrava poter calcolare in che posizione si sarebbero trovati al momento del passaggio. Sono juventino, ma non riesco a capire l'odio nei confronti di Totti. Capisco, gli sfotto ecc. ma ciò non toglie che sia un grande giocatore, uno dei più forti di tutti i tempi e non solo, che l'estero ci ha invidiato e ci invidia. Non sono due o tre episodi a cancellare comunque un bravo ragazzo, anche fuori dal campo. E poi, molti fanno gli Ultra, si lamentano del calcio mercenario ecc. when i was erasmus in turkey, i showed a video from yt to a spanish flatmate, a barcelona supporter. The video was "totti 20 best goals ever". He said :" great goals, but also lucky. i'll show you something from messi, the greatest." The comparison, considering goals, was quite good, i mean, they were quite similar. But just talking about best beauty goals.
Then i showed this video.
At the end, my spanish flatmate was completely upset and astonished. He just said:

Francesco Totti has always been one of my favourite footballers whilst growing up. I remember watching him play in the world cup in 2006 when Italy won. I wish we could have him on the fifa games

Vedo che c'è ancora chi ironizza ma c'è poco da ironizzare. Totti non è stato solo il più grande marcatore di serie A dopo Silvio Piola (il più grande in assoluto se si contano i goal fatti con una sola squadra) ma è stato anche uno dei più grandi uomo-squadra di tutti i tempi come dimostra magistralmente questo video.
E allora trovatemelo voi un giocatore altrettanto universale da abbinare senso del gol e visione di gioco...... non lo troverete..... potrete trovare i 700 goal di Pelè e i 400 di Di Stefano ma non troverete mai un video con Pelè o Di Stefano che fanno lanci di 50-60 metri. Oppure potrete trovare i lanci di 50-60 metri di Platini ma se andrete a contare i goal che ha fatto in serie A "le Roi" si ferma a 68... Stessa cosa dicasi per Maradona, anche lui con giocate straordinarie e con un'immensa visione di gioco, ma che a gol fatti, in serie A, si ferma a 81.....!
Totti di gol ne ha fatti 260 (circa) ma ne ha fatti fare pure più di quanti ne ha segnati lui.... e spesso circondato da giocatori non all'altezza del suo talento e della sua bravura.......quantità di gol da goleador, visione e lanci da regista e fantasia e giocate da rifinitore..... tutto in un unico giocatore... tutto questo lo rende, se non il giocatore più forte, sicuramente il giocatore più completo di tutti i tempi.
Video troppo corto. Questo lo mettevi trequartista e ti smarcava davanti al portiere di prima minimo due o tre volte a partita, lo mettevi prima punta e ti inzebrava 300 goal, e pure belli, lo mettevi seconda punta con uno come Batistuta e ti faceva vincere lo scudetto. Lanci millimetrici in ogni zona del campo, triangolazioni, colpi di tacco, mille falli a partita guadagnati. Il suo calcio è l'essenza del trequartista, senza lo spunto alla Baggio o Del Piero ma con un senso del gioco unico.
Giustissimo ed era anche parecchio forte fisicamente se poi si fosse allenato sempre in squadroni pieni di campioni sarebbe diventato anche un pochino più forte...incredbiile
Concordo. Nel dribbling quei due erano una spanna sopra, ma quanto a intelligenza calcistica Totti è di un'altra categoria.

Ricordatevi sempre che i palloni e gli scarpini cambiano come le regole, facilitando tutto. L'unica cosa in cui è stato del tutto un fuoriclasse è la visione di gioco. Sembrava avere il radar che gli diceva della posizione di ogni avversario e compagno. Sembrava poter calcolare in che posizione si sarebbero trovati al momento del passaggio. Nel resto, i palloni, gli scarpini, e le regole, lo hanno fortemente avvantaggiato rispetto a giocatori del passato.

Totti 316 goals and 204 assist. Believe me, an entire career in one of the best defensive championship like Italy, you won't see many players with those numbers. And Roma was never a 11/11 stellar team like Barca, Real or Bayern. He was a True king of football.
